Chapter 5: He's leaving

Short but meh...

Sam's POV

I walked out of school while my backpack strap was on my left shoulder. I was walking by myself, since Yuki went with her friends and left me alone. Someone through a book on the back of my head and I fell down while I tripped on a stair. I fell down and landed on my stomach, which blew all the air out of my lungs.

I gasped to obtain that air again. I heard laughter behind me. When I struggled to breathe I saw who it was. It was the whole school who was laughing at me. Dom gave Prime a high-five while he laughed. "He's so dumb he can't even breath!" Dom said while I attempted to get up. My knees hurt from the fall, so I tried my best not to hurt myself. I continued to walk away, not saying anything while I finally got to the comfortable amount of air in my lungs again.

I was breathing normally now. Hopefully the rest of the way there is smooth sailing. "SAM SUCKS!" Rowan shouted from behind me while I looked down at my feet. As I attempted to walk away, someone threw a water balloon at me. It wet my backpack and some of my clothes. I heard all of them laughing. Mocking me. Calling me names. I checked my backpack to see if anything important got wet. When I went through it my project for class was ruined. Days of work... Gone.

"Hey you nerd, stop worrying so much!" Hidden shouted while I zipped up my backpack and put my hands inside my wet pockets. I was walking faster now, I didn't want to deal with this any longer than I already had to. They attempted to hit me with a water balloon again, but they missed this time. "Aw, we missed just like he missed." Pepe said. "Didn't the guy catch it, not that he missed him?" Someone said while I ignored them completely now.

I was on my way home. I would have to change my clothes when I get there...

Later...

I walked home from the train. I was still really upset and angry about Taurtis not being my friend anymore too. But what can I do. I can't do anything. I started making my way to the apartments while I clenched my fists. I walked inside and I rushed through the stairs. Then I unlocked the door to my apartment.

When I opened the door I discovered Taurtis with a bag of luggage and some of his belongings in his other hand. "Taurtis, what's all this?" I asked him. He paused and then looked away. "Didn't think you would be home this early." He said while i looked down. "You're moving out?" "Yeah..." "Why?"

He sighed as I looked back up at him. I was furious. Why would my best buddy leave me here? Alone. "Because we're not friends anymore I don't want to live with someone I'm not friends with. That's why I'm going to move into Chan's house." He said while he began walking again. "Whoa, whoa, whoa. You and chan are dating?" I asked him. He nodded as he walked past me and closed the door behind him.

"TAURTIS YOU GET BACK HERE RIGHT NOW!" I demanded him. He didn't stop. He kept on moving and when he did I slammed the door and looked around. I noticed the gamecrab was gone. I went to the kitchen and most of the food wasn't there anymore. I looked into the bedroom and only my stuff was there. Everything in the house, only my things. I looked at my nightstand and saw he left his headphones.

I grabbed them and then fell down on my knees. "Taurtis..." I mumbled while I held them up. I put them on and then rushed to the balcony. I looked at the street and I saw him. Walking. Walking away to Chan. They walked away, out of sight. I turned around and saw a picture of me and Taurtis. I walked to it and grabbed it. Taurtis was doing bunny ears on my head, even though I already had them.

It was the day went to the theatre when w first arrived here with no other friends. It was just us. Me and him. No one else. I cried a tear as it landed in the middle of us. I looked below the picture and I noticed there was a caption. On the caption below it read... Friends for life
