"Ryan." Brendon spun around to face him. "I was looking for you."

"You found me." He opened his arms and looked around. "Now what?"

"I- you're having a party?"

"Brendon what are you doing here?"

"I came to see you."

"You told me you couldn't see me today."

"I changed my mind?" He hadn't meant to phrase it as a question.

"Brendon?" Ryan crossed his arms over his chest. Not buying into his lie at all.

He sighed in defeat. "Dallon and I got into an argument."

"Oh?" He lifted one perfectly waxed eyebrow. "What about?"

"I called him your name." He mumbled too low for Ryan to hear.

"What?"

"I said I accidentally called him by your name."

Ryan pressed his lips together in a weak attempt to suppress his smile.

"Like during sex?"

"No not like during sex." It was hard to ignore his disappointed look. "We were watching a movie-"

"Did he lose his shit?" Ryan sounded way to excited about this.

"Not exactly. That was just a small part of it. We went from that to us not having sex anymore and-"

"You're not having sex anymore?" He titled his head in fake concern.

Brendon narrowed his eyes at the false sincerity. "We haven't in a while."

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"Because I didn't think it was any of your business."

Ryan gave him a 'really?' Look.

"I don't care about your arguments. If you weren't getting sex at home. I would have doubled the sex you were getting here."

Brendon lifted one eyebrow. Contemplating whether or not Ryan was serious. After a few seconds of debating in his head, he decided that he was.

"You're amazing." He pulled him closer. His arms rested around the taller man's waist.

"Hey, it's my job as your mistress to keep you satisfied."

"I thought your job was to constantly beg me to leave my husband and marry you. At least, that's how it's always done in the movies."

Ryan laughed. "Nahh. I'm not going to rush you to do anything you're not ready for."

"You're amazing." Brendon kissed his nose. Ryan closed his eyes at the weird feeling. "Have I told you how amazing you are?"

"I don't recall." His arms snaked around Brendon's shoulders. He rocked back and forth between his feet. Making Brendon rock as well.

"Well you're amazing."

"It's because I love you."

"Now where have I heard that before?" He lifted one finger up to tap against his chin.

"You aren't going to say it back?" Ryan laughed.

"Hey, I was covered in your vomit and didn't punch you in the face. If that doesn't say I love you, nothing else can."

"Except the actual words."

"Exactly!"

"You're terrible!" Ryan smirked. "But I like it." He leaned his head down to Brendon's. His nose brushed up against his. His lips were just a breath away from his. "Kiss me." His lips touched his with each word.

"Or you could just kiss me." Brendon suggested.

"I like it better when you take initiative. I think it's hot."

He didn't need to say anything else. Brendon grabbed his face in his hands. Pulled Ryan's head down to blanket his lips over his own. Ryan's hands fell from his shoulders and dropped at his sides. Before he could intensify the kiss with his tongue, Brendon pulled away. Ryan didn't hesitate to push his face closer again but Brendon stopped him.

"That enough."

"What? Why?"

"Because we're surrounded by people and at least ten of them were probably staring."

"Let them stare. No one in this house is important." He pushed forward again and Brendon pulled back again. Ryan stomped his foot in annoyance. Like a child denied a cookie. He was a step away from throwing a full blown temper tantrum. Kicking and screaming on the floor.

But Brendon just wasn't used to serious displays of affection in front of other people. When he and Dallon first began dating, they would make out anywhere at any time because they couldn't help themselves. But throughout the years any kind of intimacy they shared was usually restricted to the house.

The thought of Dallon reminded him of their fight. Had he seriously just walked out on his husband during an argument? An argument that he started? Oh no. He needed to go fix things. He must have lost his got damn mind.

"I have to get going." He pulled completely away from Ryan.

The hurt look on his face almost made him want to stay. "You just got here."

"I know. But Dallon-"

"Dallon is mad at you. He probably doesn't want to see your fucking face right now." He took a step. Re-closing the distance between them. "I never stay mad at you."

"I know, but-"

"And I want you to meet all my friends."

Brendon ignored Ryan calling them friends. When moments before he'd told him no one in this house was important.

"I'll meet a few of them. But then I have to go."

"Yay." He squealed, grabbing his hand.

"Just a few."

"Just a few."
