Brendon was shaking when he went home at the end of the day.

Shaking and thinking about the very young Ryan Ross.

He couldn't stop thinking about him. All day his face kept appearing in his head. He could still feel his lips on his. He couldn't even blame Ryan for it. All the kid did was share a sort of embarrassing secret with him. Brendon took it upon himself to steal his first kiss.

Not even stopping to think of how Dallon would react to the news. Because of course he was going to tell him. He had to tell him. They were married. They didn't keep secrets from each other.

AND IT WAS NO BIG DEAL!

It wasn't as if he was planning on having a full fledged affair with a nineteen year old boy. He'd simply helped him obtain his first kiss.

It was a stupid, impulsive act and it wasn't going to happen again.

"Hey, honey." The front door swung open. Dallon stood there in his usual apron. "I thought I heard you pull up. What's taking you so long to come in?"

"I-I was thinking of some things."

"On the porch?" He laughed.

"Yeah." Brendon sighed.

Dallon stopped laughing. He held the door open wider. Stepping aside to let his husband in.

"Come in the house, Brendon."

"I need to tell you something. It's something kind of stupid."

"Well you can tell me in the house."

"I'd rather tell you out here. You know, in case you want to kick me out or something."

"Brendon what's going on?" He let go of the door. Stepping on the porch to stand directly in front of him. His voice lowered to a whisper. "What did you do?"

Brendon stared up into the eyes of the man that he loved. Wondering how he would handle the news. Would be brush it off easily? Would he lose his mind with anger? What if he burst out crying? Brendon hated seeing him cry.

"I-I-"

"Brendon just," He started angrily. His annoyance getting the best of him. He took a deep breath and smiled. "Just tell me what's wrong. It'll be okay. I love you."

"Do you promise not to get mad?"

"What?" The worry on his face intensified. Brendon couldn't even imagine what could be going on in his head.

"Do you promise not to get mad?"

"I'm getting mad now, Brendon."

"Fine. I'll just say it." He inhaled deeply. Biting the corner of his lip. "I got into a little fender bender on the way home."

The lie ran from his lips too easily for his liking. The guilt inside him doubled.

Dallon visibly relaxed. He looked over Brendon's head to get a better view of the car.

"I don't see-"

"It's just a small scratch. But I-I just wanted to tell you."

"Well, it's going to be a bitch on our insurance, but I'm not going to kick you out for it." Dallon pulled him into a quick hug. "As long as you're okay, I'm happy."

Brendon was a terrible person.

"Thanks, Dal."

"Now come in so I can finish dinner."
