"I'll miss you," my mother wrapped as I passed my luggage to the driver, ignoring her.
He hauled it into the back of the limo and I muttered a thank you as I adjusted the purse across my chest. I didn't want to go to another pack, even if it's only temporary. And why was she crying and saying she will miss me anyway? She wanted me to go.
This was probably all an act, just so I didn't feel alone on this trip. If I could even call it one. "Write a letter! We love you!" My father said after he gave me a huge bear hug like he did it all the time, which he didn't.
I was only staying at the Blue Star pack for 2 months, not forever. My parents were horrible at acting. The exaggerated it a bit too much. I would've given them a level 1- for their drama.
"Bye birth giver and her husband," I said, looking back at them as the driver opened the door for me. I sat at the back of the limo.
Why a limo you ask? Because my parents were rich as hell. I would've personally preferred a simple van for travelling in the woods to another pack's territory, but since they- my loving parents- never took my opinions seriously, I actually learned that no matter how many times I would explain something to my parents, they who'd never take me seriously.
They would always think of me as a 13-year-old, young and most likely stupid. They call me an adult, but they don't treat me like one. They say they love me, yet they still send me away. They cry when I leave, but smile when I'm gone.
I stared at the security sitting across from me at the back. "Who are you?" I asked, crossing my legs as the limo started.
"Evan Anderson. I am here to protect you from harm sent by Alpha Pine." He answered, frowning as he spoke.
My dad knows 100% well I can even drive this limo there myself, since I was a great fighter that learned at a young age. But yesterday, after the news broke out to me, my parents told me "the plan". I had to act.
No problem, I was great at it. I just had to pretend I was a delicate, sweet, innocent 18-year-old that is looking forward to meeting her prince and agree to marry him.
"I'll just call you Andy," I said, waving my right hand at him. God, I was great at acting spoiled. But I kind of felt bad for the guy. If only he knew how powerful I was.
Only Julian, my parents and I know of my fighting lessons.
Andy and I got along quite well during the ride, and we even spilled some secrets about ourselves when we played truth or dare.
When I got out of my car, Andy grabbed my arm. "Hey, we don't tell anyone about what we said in the limo."
I smiled back at him, "Don't worry, Andy. No ones gonna know you're a virgin," he rolled his eyes at my comment and he shut the door behind him.
When we saw people coming our way, Andy stood up straighter and fixed his uniform.
"Hello, Alpha Crest. The girl has arrived safely," Andy said monotonously.
"I can see that," Alpha Crest, gesturing to me. "Hello, Celena. It's a pleasure to have you here. Follow me inside."
