I walked into the closet and looked around me.

I had hung my clothes up, so I knew which outfits would suit me best for the lunch, but I decided to check out the new clothes that the Kris family had kindly bought for me.

Looking through the sundresses, I finally found one that hugged my body nicely at the top, and flowed out like a flower from the waist down like petals. I put on some sandals, and fixed up my hair into a loose bun and touched up some light make up.

Facing the large mirror in the closet, I looked at myself and struck a pose. If I didn't know myself, I would've thought I was just an 18-year-old human, dressed up for a date.

Well, that was half true.

I opened the door and walked down the long hallway. Thoughts about Donovan swarmed my head. Will I learn to love him? Will I never be with Jonathan?

I had to marry Donovan because if I didn't, both of our packs would not be able to form into one stronger pack. My parents... they would be disappointed in me. Though I know they don't care about me as much as they showed it, I still try my best to impress them and represent them. I wanted them to think of me as an adult, and ready to take on the lead as a Luna.

Nobody understood me. Jonathan may know how I feel in terms of being treated unfairly in the family, but he wouldn't be able to understand being the only female child in the family. I was expected to be a male wolf when I was born so I can raise my pack and follow after my parents.

But it didn't turn out that way, and so my parents decided to join our packs. I bet if I was a male, I would've been treated a little better by my parents.

I was too busy into my thoughts, my eyes glued to the ground that I bumped into somebody walking in the opposite direction of me.

Strong hands hold my waist and I look up to see Jonathan. "Oh! I'm sorry..." I said, looking up at him. His hands around me send me a tingle of feelings.

"Celena..." He just looked at me smiling. I blushed and shifted my feet a little.

"I'm going out-"

"I know." He said, letting go of me quickly. "Have fun." He nodded at me as I rushed out of his way, my cheeks become redder by each second.

Don't blame me! I'm not experienced with interacting with males. Since he was my mate, his touch affected me.

I reached the front doors, and closed it behind me as I walked down the stairs to the car waiting for me.

"Hey, I'm sorry for taking so long," I apologized to Donovan as he opened the door for me. "Thank you,"

He went to the other side and sat down in the drivers seat. "I like your outfit today Celena, and don't apologize."

"Thanks," I smiled awkwardly. I barely know him, and I hoped this lunch would help us get to know each other better.

"That's interesting! I enjoy reading books as well. Specifically non-fiction ones, but I have a few exceptions on fiction stories," Donovan looks up at me, and grins. "Say, I should take you to the library sometime throughout the week,"

"Definitely, that would be amazing." I said, as I ate. Then a question popped into my head. "Donovan?"

"Yes?" He wiped his mouth and looked up at me.

"Why doesn't Jonathan train with the pack members. I know I haven't even been here for a week, but I've noticed that you, and the other members of the pack leave to training but Jonathan is always left behind." I asked it out of curiosity. Though Jonathan didn't work out with the other members, he didn't lack muscles as he looks just as strong and healthy.

"He works on his own. Remember last time when you saw is fighting at the arena? Firstly, he doesn't like to be compared to others and so I would usually train him. Secondly, he is too young to begin his training. For his age, he is stronger than most members of our pack. He will join us next year."

"Oh," was all I could say. Even his older brother thought of him as a young boy.

"How are you finding my family and the pack so far?" Donovan said.

"Welcoming. Everybody is friendly to me, and I'm hoping to get used to the daily routines in the pack." I said.

"You will not have to worry about that Celena. You won't be needed to fight in any dangerous situation. You are the princess I will protect and I shall be your prince," he said and I laughed. Then he added, "We have a gym you can work out in, so you won't have to always do it in your room," he winked at me. "Oh yes, I heard there was a gym."

"Great, you can use that room as many times as you want,"

"Thank you," I wanted to ask if I could also practice in the fighting arena, but I bit my tongue. I'm not supposed to look or act like a fighter, showing both of the brothers that I work out is already an unladylike thing of me to do. But I was grateful they took it week and let me continue exercising. I would've died if Donovan didn't allow me to move.
Thus far, I've only seen men work in these rooms. So I dug into my food and kept up the conversation.

"Thank you very much for taking me to eat out today, I appreciate it," I said as we walked into the mansion. "Anytime," Donovan says. He pauses for a second, and before I even noticed it, he had kissed my cheek lightly and stood up straight. "I'll see you around, I have something important to do," he nodded at me and left in a hurry. Strangely, he wasn't headed towards the meeting room or his bedroom. He was heading towards the side of the mansion where the maids' rooms were.

I wonder where he's going off to...
