"I suggest you and Donovan get going; we don't want to waste your time here," Luna Kris said.

After I thanked them, Donovan and I walked out of the room. I looked back to see Jonathan looking at me, confused and hurt. I wish I could mink-link him, but that only is allowed after we have... completed our mating bond.

A mating bond is when two wolves are mates, and in order for them to connect with each other throughly, the female would usually go through a process called heat, where there would be cramps and the male must be by her side at these times to help her. And to stop the heats from coming, the mates must bite each other's neck as a sign that they belong to one another and finish it off, them must have a night of love making.

Donovan decided to take me to the gardens (out of Alpha Kris' orders) and we walked in silence for the first few minutes.

"So, how do you like it here so far?" Donovan asked me.

"It's a very nice environment. There's a lot of nice places here... much different from my home,"

"They treat you badly?"

"Not in the way you think. It's just more welcoming and free here. I wish our pack had a garden," I said as I reached out a hand to run a finger along the pedals of a flower.

"Don't worry, once both of our packs are united, you and I shall build another garden together, what do you say?" Donovan said while smiling at me. I returned it and nodded.

"Do you agree that marrying someone else that is not your mate is a good idea? Do you approve of this-- this kind of relationship? Arranged?" I asked.

"Those are very difficult questions for a delicate flower like you, Celena," Donovan looked at me with amusement. You have no idea...

Donovan chose his words carefully as he spoke. "I enjoy your company very much, Celena, it's nice to talk to someone other than my brother. But... I am still kind of wishing I was marrying my mate instead." He turned to me. "Wouldn't you want to marry your mate?"

"I understand." I really do. "Have you found your mate yet?"

"No, I haven't. If I had, father wouldn't have forced me to you, have you found yours?"

"No, I have not," I lied, my facing looking as truthful as possible.

The rest of the stroll was nice, I learned a bit about Donovan, and he got to knew more about me.
