"GET THEM!" The white coated young man yells.
Hoovering robots come from the corner and speed towards us. I get wide eyes and run over the electric lines faster. I catch up to Hope and pick her up because after all, she is only 11.
"OH, FUCK." I yell in terror.
"A DUCK!" Jokes Hunter.
"NAT LOOK OUT!" Yells Mason. "DUCK!"
He throws a pipe at my head and I duck. I hear a crash really close behind me, and start sweating at the face, not bothering to look behind me.
More robots come out saying, "Halt!"
I'm SURE we're going to be safe. I think sarcastically. We exit the laser field and start climbing the gate outside. It was windy, and I started to get cold. Once we got out, we ran into the forest, hearing the angry voices fading away.
"Now that we're out, we need to get the cuffs off." I say, putting down Hope.
The gang look at each other and shake their heads.
"While you where out, they put a chip in your forearm. We think it might have to be something to do with tracking you." Mason says.
"No fuck. Someone take it out!" I say gripping my arm.
Hope shivers and says, "With no numbing?"
"Well, we're outcasts, and they'll do anything to put us in Juvenal Detention forever possibly!" I say. "If they find us? We're dead."
"So take it out with a stick??" Asks Hunter.
I groan, and look up at the night sky. Then I finally ask, "How do you guys know this?"
I was curious. If they know this, then how did they find out?
"Well, we heard Doctors talking and we all heard, 'Chip.' And when you returned, you had a scar on your forearm." Says Aaron.
Well that makes sense. So I nodded. I remembered. I had a secret pocket in my underwear that possessed a pocket knife. I smile.
"Secret underwear pocket knife." I say, smiling.
The gang groans.
"You CAN loose the feeling in your hand, you know?" Neil raises his eyebrow.
"Bullshit." I say.
"Hunter." I say, Waving some cash in his face. "I dare you to take out the chip."
"Nat..." He says looking sad. "I know I was always there for you... Doing stupid dares... But this is way too far. I can't do it."
I get kind of blushy and angry at the same time. Hot tears start appearing. "Fine! I'll do it!" I say stomping into the forest.

ActionI wrote this story when I was in elementary school. I won't be taking it down because it took me a lot of time and effort to write and it was the beginning of making long stories for me. It is *heavily* inspired by Maximum Ride by James Patterson.
