"If the serum works, lets make it a bomb so we don't have to go everywhere." I suggest. "Then we arn't risking a sacrifice." I grip West's hand and she sqeezes it. I feel all the dirt and scabs peel from my hand.  Ian ponders.

"That may work." He says. "I'll need to inject all of you. When the bomb goes off it will halt the affect on all of you." I nod. I pull West closer to my side and she rests her temple on my shoulder. I brush my free hand down her red hair. I want to by near her when I get injected. "Who's first?"

"Me." I say without thinking. I swallow. I slowly reveal my neck and Ian injects me carfully. Pain spreads across my entire neck and I wince. Then he injects Hunter, then himself.

"I'll go work on the nuke." He turns on his heel and goes to his lab. We go to the dome.

"Come to us with the bomb when your done." Calls West. Ian nods and enters his lab. I ask to see her other hand. I hold her left hand in my left hand, and her right hand in my right hand. We smile and squeeze both her hands. I look at them. They don't have any cuts or bruises. They are soft. Like a pillow. Mine are the same. Soft and perfect.

West

I become uncomfortable. Hunter is still in the room. He isn't paying much attention to us but he is still here. Aaron leans to kiss my forhead but I put my hand on his chest and push him back slightly. I give a quick nod toward Hunter, who is making a fire. Aaron nods and takes my hand, leading my outside, just as Ian comes with the bomb.

"We just have to fuse it." He says, slightly stumbling because of the weight. I offer to help him carry it to the feild but Aaron isnists on helping too.

"Who's going to tell Hunter to come?" I hiss, slightly too meanly. Aaron shrugs. "Ian. Put it down." I tell him. He drops it too hard and too fast. It crushes my foot. I let out a screaming cry and collapse. Aaron comes to my aid and touches my foot. I cry again.

"I think it's broken." He says with concern. This is not a time for me to cuss. I clench my jaw and flop on my back. It hurt like hell. I clench my jaw, but it rattles. I am about to cry. Aaron embraces me. I think he's right. It might be broken. Ian apologizes over and over again.

"I don't deserve to travel with you. I owe you so much for getting me uninfected." His eyes water.

"No.." I utepter. I moan as I try to get up. Aaron moves me back down.

"You can't walk." He raises one of his eyebrows questioningly.

"I don't care." I utter. I left myself up and limp, pain darting all over my body.

"How will it heal. You can't live like that.." Aaron says firmly.  Then I hatch an idea. He can fix it. I cannot fix myself. Only Ian, Hunter, or he can.
