I woke up to my phone ringing, I grumbled and took it in my hand. "Hello?"
"Why are you letting that stupid bitch flirt with Dylan!" Kelsey yelled at me through the phone. "It took me all I had to not slap her, seriously! Gushing about how cute Dylan is and giggling about how she'll win him over! Dylan's yours, I don't care what you say! Don't like her take him away from you!"
"Good morning to you too." I yawned. "And Dylan isn't really "mine" he can date whoever he wants."
"You really think he'd date that stupid, fake blonde haired, rude-"
"Okay, okay. I get it!" I laughed. "She was talking to you about him?"
"Yeah! 'Oh my God, Dylan's so cute, I mean the things I would do to him!' And whole lot more things you do not want to hear about. Why didn't you tell her that you liked Dylan?"
"Who said I liked Dylan?"
"Are we seriously going through this again? What's preventing you from admitting it? Are you scared of him hurting you?"
Truth to be told, I didn't really know what was preventing me from admitting it. Maybe it was the fact that I was afraid of getting hurt again. Or maybe it was because I wasn't letting go of the past. "I don't know Kels. But I know I was angry when Ashlyn was flirting with him."
"Jealously, young one." She said in a tone as if I was a student and she were the teacher. "You can't be the scared of the fact that he'll hurt you. It's like that in every relationship, there's always that risk of getting hurt, but you take that chance anyways because you like the person. I was the same way with Connor. And look at us now, it's almost one year."
"Yeah, but not all relationships will last long."
"Is that a risk you're willing to take?"
Was it a risk I was willing to take? Kelsey went pretty deep on that subject, which is something she never usually does. It was something that I needed to think about. "I'll think about it. I'll see you tomorrow at work."
"Think girly! And alright, bye!" I ended the call and rubbed my eyes, still laying in bed. I didn't feel like getting up, and try to find something to do. Kelsey was at work, I wasn't talking to Vanessa, and the last person I wanted to see was Dylan. I seriously need more friends.
I hid myself under the covers, trying to go back to sleep, until I heard knocks. I peaked out from under the covers, to see Dylan on the balcony.
Really? To come when I look like complete and utter shit? Oh goodness. I groaned and got out the bed, and opened the balcony. "Why are you here?"
"Good morning to you too." He smirked at me.
"Seriously, could've warned me. Or used the front door!"
"That'd make things less interesting though."
"You're so weird sometimes. But seriously, why did you come?" I asked, letting him in. Then walking over towards my bed, and sitting on it. It was messy and unmade, I looked at myself in the mirror. My hair was in a messy bun, I had dark bags under my eyes, and worst of all I was in sweatpants and a undershirt.
"I was bored." He shrugged his shoulders.
"Good to know i'm your go to girl when you're bored." I said sarcastically, then I layed in my bed. Oh, how I wanted to sleep.
"And I have another reason for coming." He added, his tone of voice suddenly worried for me a second. "Okay, what is it?"
"We need to talk about us." He stated seriously.
