So I Heard You're A Player

The Player's A Virgin?

"Dylan?" I said softly It was obvious who it was go be. Only Dylan calls me Healy, which was kind of annoying, but I realized it's like a nickname, even if it was my last name. It was suprirising to see that he found me, while holding a Starbucks in his hand.

"One and only, what's wrong?" He said thoughtfully. What does this mean? That the dare's over? There's no way I'll be friend with Lilac, Rosalie and Chloe again. Not after this, not after ever. Once I saw them, I'd tell them straight-up. That's not how this should have ended, but I can't forgive them. You never know what people say behind closed doors, literally.

"Y-You don't have to do the d-dare." I stuttered, might as well end the dare, but inside, I didn't even want it to end when it barley started.

"Aw, why not? You know I would've won." He teased, making me pull out a weak smile. "My best friends, well, not anymore, but they made me do the dare to get to you."

"Well, I wouldn't have noticed them anyways." He said simply, my eyes widened, he wouldn't? "You wouldn't?"

"Why would I notice them when the dare was to notice you?" And for the first time, not every guy notices my best friends instead of me, but of course, it was for a dare. My tears dried up, and the wind was blowing my hair out of my face. I shivered a bit, but I hid it so Dylan wouldn't notice. "So yeah, you don't do have to do the dare anymore, unless, you want to keep on doing it. By the way, can I have your Starbucks? I've never tried Starbucks before." It's true, I've never tried it, as lame as it sounded. I've never even tried coffee before, and I figured it'd make the coversation less awkward, also.

"You've never tried Starbucks before?" He laughed. "Where have you been?" It's true. mostly everybody I knew loved Starbucks, it felt like being in a room where everybody knew how to swim and you didn't. He passed me the Starbucks and I raised an eyebrow at him.

"Don't worry, I didn't drink it yet. No, I didn't poison it either."

I smiled at him. "I was going to ask what it was, but that's good too."

"Oh, it's a vanilla frappuccino." This guy likes vanilla? Striked me as a chocolate type of person, but something we had in common, we both liked vanilla. I took a sip and It was scorching hot on my tounge, and it tasted digusting at first. Dylan laughed at the disgusted face I pulled when I first drank it. After a few sips, It started to taste actually good.

"So, that was some act you pulled earlier, to get me to agree to the dare." Did he have to bring that up? I dreaded that memory, I wish I hadn't of done it, when he brought it up my face turnd rosy red.

"Don't remind me, trust me, I'm not like that. Lilac told me to do whatever it takes to get you to agree to it." I said quickly, taking another sip of the frappuccino, what an awkward conversation for me.

"Whoa, slow down with the coffee. You didn't strike me as that type, anyways." He didn't? He didn't think that I was just some desperatre slut trying to win him over for a dare? Huh. Maybe he wasn't such a douchebag that everybody said he was. I looked at his eyes for a second, they changed from almost black to a light brown colour in a second. I jumped for a second. "Your eyes, they changed to a warm tone." I whispered.

"Huh?" His eyes were now back to the darkest brown, that was weird, maybe he's an ailen or something. "Are you an ailen?" I asked, wow, that didn't make me sound like an airhead at all, I regretted asking that now.

"No, Healy. I'm not an ailen, vampire, or anything you can imagine. My eyes change to a cameral colour when I really care for someone, and there's more to it, but i'm not telling you that yet." When he really cares for someone? Aww! Wait, no, not aww. Shut up Chanell, he can't for you if he doesn't really anything about you.

I realized I finished my Starbucks and I installly frowned. "Aww, I finished it." I whined, I really like these. It's funny how I got to try my first Starbuck drink with Dylan Wright, a guy everybody thinks is a douchebag. In reality, he's actually a nice guy. "Thank you for letting me have it, I owe you one."

"Don't worry about it." He shrugged his shoulders and looked out onto the football field. I looked at for a second, trying to picture him and I together one day, but knowing me. We'd probably just end up friends.

"I don't know who I'm going to hang out with now," I said quietly. I couldn't hang out with Lilac, Rosalie and Chloe anymore. I don't want to hang out with them, years of friendship meant nothing to them. They only used me.

"You can hang out with my friends and I." Dylan suggested. My eyes beamed when he said that. "Really? What about the dare?"

"We don't have to do it anymore, but that doesn't mean that I won't be your friend. It's nice to hang out with you, you're good to be around. Makes me happier." Dylan stated. Aww, that's actually really sweet coming from a player. Maybe this whole dare thing was actually good. I met a genuinely nice guy, and that's rare to find, even if he's a player.

"Why are you a player? I mean, you seem so nice." I blurted out, that wasn't supposed to come out of my mouth, damnit.

He chuckled. "It's just something people labled me as, I didn't really do anything to make me become a player. I just stuck with it through all these years. And want to know what's funny? I'm a virgin."

What.The.Fuck. There is no way this guy is a virgin! "No way, that's not possible!" I crossed my arms, this was unbelievable!

"Believe it, because it is. I guess I'm the guy that waits for the right girl to have it with." Somebody shoot me, why did I have to meet a guy that could almost be my dream guy? You know what, this suks. It really does. Instead of flipping out, I stayed calm. "Oh, that was hard to believe, but yeah. I'm a virgin, also." It wasn't going to be a shock to him, everybody in the entire school knew that I was a virgin. But now, I wasn't the only one.

"By the way, you're the only person I told this too, I feel like I can tell you things that nobody else knows about me." Wow, that's deep alright.

"Yeah, me too. But we should head inside now, it's probably already lunch. I need to talk to some people, but this was nice." I stood up and dusted off my jeans. "Are you coming?" I asked.

"Nah, i'm going to stay here for a while. I'll see you later, Healy." He smiled at me, then I started to walk down the bleachers to go find Lilac.

I was right, when I got inside the school the bell rang signaling it was lunch. I walked towards my locker to see Lilac, Rosalie and Chloe. Smiling as if nothing happened. That they were innocent. Well guess what bitches, I caught you red headed.

"Chanell!" They all sqeualed. "Don't." I said flatly. "I know what you did, in the washroom. I heard you!" I shouted, loud enough for some people to hear and turn their heads. Lilac pulled out her face of curiousity, like she didn't know what I was talking about.

"I'm not pretty enough for him, huh? This dare was all some way for you to get to him? How stupid I was for thinking all you were for my friends? That's nice!"

"Well, it's true.." Chloe muttered under her breath.

"What's true!" I spat.

"That you're not good enough for him!" Lilac shouted at me. "Without us you're just some loser which no guys like!"

"T-That's not true!" I stuttered, that hurt what Lilac said. Deeply hurt.

"Really? Because she's good enough for me. It's you three that are the losers, guys only like you to get in your pants." A familair voice said at them, and I knew exactly who it was. Dylan. They stood there, in shock, I guess truth does hurt like a bitch.

"Let's go, Healy."
