So I Heard You're A Player
The Dare is On
"I hate you." I said hatefully with a speck of vemon in my face to my best friend, Lilac. This morning, Lilac made me get up at 5 in the morning! Five! I'm usually the person who sleeps in at the last minute every morning, but I guess today was a special day since the dare will start, and trust me, I was in the worst mood ever. I'm not a morning person. I glanced at Chloe and Rosalie sleeping peacefully, I sighed, wishing I was them for a moment.
"Love you too!" Lilac beamed while she rumanged through my closet. "You have to look presentable for Dylan!" She said happily. I felt a bit hurt by this, and obviously Lilac noticed. "Aw, Chan, I didn't mean it like that. You're always gorgeous, it's just that you know Dylan, he has such high standards." Lilac frowned, looking truly sorry. I know Lilac, and she hates to hurt people's feelings. I pulled a weak smile at Lilac. "It's fine, but I don't understand what's so great about him."
Lilac rolled eyes and threw a shirt at me, landing perfectly on top of my head. "Thanks." I mumbled while grabbing it and getting a full view. It was a light core coloured flowly shirt with a V neck, it was simple, but a gorgeous shirt. It's funny because I never wore it; it still had its price tag on it.
"Put that on! Plus with these skinny jeans!" I sighed, putting the shirt on. Lilac did my hair and make-up, I insisited on doing it myself since I like make-up. But Lilac put up a fit and eventually won. Lilac passed me my black skinny jeans that I loved to wear. It hit me in all the right places and made my skinny thighs look curvy and fitted. I started to think about this all. The dare, talking to Dylan, would he actually fall for me? Probably not. I wasn't his type, and I'm being perfectly honest. Dylan does have high standards, and I don't reach his standards. I started to feel insecure by this all.
"There, now you look drop-dead gorgeous, honey!" Lilac snapped me out my trance, and pushed me towards the mirror. I was standing at 5'5, not that tall, not too short. My chocolate brown hair waved perfectly in place, and my make-up was done. Once I get cleaned up, I can look pretty good. Not gorgeous, but pretty. I smiled at my reflection, Lilac did a good job.
"Thanks, Lilac." I said thankfully and smiled brightly at her. Lilac waved her hand in modestly. "I didn't do that bad of a job! Now, we have to go over on how you're going to approach him. Okay, so, when we get to school, he'll likely be at his locker and have girls swooning over him. Then, you're going to walk up to him, being a confident bitch and talk to him. Oh, and act seductive, act like one of those sluts to wheel him in!" I was stunned by two things when she said this, how she gathered all this information with her and stalker ways. And two, expecting me to act like a slut?
"Not happening." I said bluntly, crossing my arms. It's amazing how Lilac planned this all out; like it was more than just a regular dare. I started to get suspicious, maybe there was more to this dare that I didn't know about.
"Chanell!" Lilac whined. "You have to do it, it's the dare!"
I rolled my eyes, she was right. You can't avoid the dare, as much as you hate it. But I started to look on the bright side of this, one, I could have some fun. Plus, I've never had a boyfriend before. As lame as it sounds, guys just never took an interest in me, and if they did. They would meet my best friends and chase after them. I didn't even had my first kiss yet, and kissing a guy only for a dare didn't seem like the best first kiss I could have.
"What! Is the world on fire! No, Zac Efron, don't leave me, we can survive this fire together!" Lilac and I turned in shock to see Chloe sleep-talking again, I chuckled as Lilac went over to Chloe and started smacking her with a pillow. "Get up! We're leaving in ten minutes!" Oh, Chloe and her Zac Efron dreams. Chloe instally stood up. "Zac! No, why did you have to die!" Chloe hugged her pillow, her blonde hair was tied up in a messy bun, she rubbed her bright blue eyes and instally turned to us with an innocent looking face. "Zac Efron left me!"
"Oh shush, Chloe! Wake up Rosalie." Lilac grabbed her TNA purse off the floor. Chloe shot us a hateful look but did what she was told. "Rose, wake the frig up!" Chloe shouted into Rosalie's ear.
"How much time do I have to get ready?" Rosalie got up, rubbing her eyes. I looked at my alarn clock on my nightstand. "Ten minutes." I informed them, and when I did, Chloe and Rosalie shot up and fought to get to the washroom.
When we got to school, it was time for the dare to start. I had to admit, I was nervous, but my best friends were excited and ready for this to start. Lilac was right; Dylan was at his locker with freshman swooning all over him like he was some God. I rolled my eyes, how typical.
"Go!" Lilac pushed me, happily. "Just act confident, and do whatever you feel is right. We'll be right here when you come back, you can do it!" The thing I loved about Lilac is that she can be so supportive, even when she's the one making you do the thing you depise the most. I took a deep breath and headed towards Dylan and his group of girls.
When I approached them, the freshman gave me dirty looks, but I pulled out my confident act. "Get the hell away." I spat at them with my hatred tone. Their eyes widened and they walked off. Huh, that was easy. Good job, Chanell.
There I was, standing face to face with Dylan Wright. I didn't think it would happen, not that I wanted it to happen. But it felt good to scare those freshman away, it wasn't me to do so, I was too nice.
"I'm Chanell Healy." I introduced myself, straightning my shoulders, looking confident. I felt like I was failing miserably. "So, I heard you're a player."
"Can't believe everything you hear." He said, in a deep, but sexy voice. Damnit, I didn't know his voice sounded that good. I shook the thought off my mind.
"Really? I thought I could." I pulled out my flirtatatious smile, but he didn't seem impressed, now I'd have to try harder.
"Whatever." He said coldy as he closed his locker, and started to walk off. Wow, what a douchebag. This just makes the dare even worse. But he wasn't getting away that easily. I walked up towards him, and wrapped my arms around his waist and placed my head on his shoulder. I felt like one of those freshman, and it wasn't a good feeling, but I had to do this. I placed my lips on his ear; kissing it. It was one of sweet spots that guys love, and go crazy for. I had to thank Chloe later for that tip.
"Oh Dylan.." I said seductively. "You can't resist dares," I kissed his ear again. "And I have one that you'd love to hear about." I smirked when I heard Dylan trying to keep in a moan, and I saw him bite his lip. I guess I wasn't that bad.
"Continue." He said with a pinch of curiousity in his voice. So far, this was going exactly as planned. I placed my head on his shoulder, and I still had my hands wrapped around his waist. The most awkward thing about this was that this felt right. "Players like you never fall in love, right? Well I have a dare for you. How about we do everything couples do? Kiss, hug, talk to each other all night, take walks, go on dates..And we'll see who falls in love first." I grinned, there was no way he could resist this dare and I knew it.
"Maybe.." He said, trailing off into thought. Okay, I need to make him agree, I mentally cursed myself before I started to kiss his neck, which, I think sealed the deal.
"The dare is on."
