Unexpected News

The sound of wine bottles being popped open was heard echoing throughout a rather large room that seated two young women. Frantic giggles followed and the sound of fun was heavily heard. "God, I missed you, Barbz. It's so different without you around the locker room or even just in general. You had such a bouncy happy vibe about you girl, and It drives me nuts that they didn't resign you." Nikki was having a nice little hangout with one of her best friends, Barbara Blank, AKA: Former WWE Diva's Champion, Kelly Kelly. Barbara had been out of the WWE for almost four years at this point, and in her time off she had gotten the chance to be on some television, work on perfecting her body and making sure that she was generally a happy person.

"I miss you too Nikki! It is kinda strange being away for sooooo long! How's Brizee? I haven't seen either of you girls in so long it's craaaazy to even think about!" Barbie snagged her wine glass that was filled to the brim with the dark red liquid, and took a decently sized sip. Smiling a bit as she swallowed it all down, she crossed her legs and glanced over at Nikki with a giant smile on her face. She didn't know what called for the random get together but she knew it had to be something super important.

"Bri is..alright. She's having a real hard time at home with Bryan and a whole bunch of shit that is just totally awful.." Nikki shrugged and glanced at Barbie with a half cocked smile. She wasn't sure if Barbie caught the hint of how serious her twin sister's problems were, but it really wasn't in her place to air her sister's grievances to other people, but she did have to tell Barbie some of the issues that her very close friend was having to deal with at home.

"Oh no, that's awful! I'll have to see her before you guys go back to traveling and all that jazz." Barbie took another sip of her wine, and now smiled and nudged Nikki on the arm, "C'mon..you've got me all excited, wine, you look freaking amazing in that little number you got on. What's up, Nik?" Barbie still had a feeling that Nikki did pull her aside to have some kind of good news for her, but she was just unable to figure out what she had in mind.

Nikki couldn't help but bite her bottom lip softly, she glanced down at her hands and raised the left one up, exposing a gigantic ring on her little finger. Barbie almost spat her wine out in shock, she had no idea after John and Nikki had broken up that she was even dating anyone, none the less was in a serious enough relationship that she was gonna get freaking married! "OHMYGOSH, Nicole!! Who on Earth has you ready to tie the knot! Tell me..EVERYTHING!!" she turned her entire body over, elbows on the table and her chin in the palm of her hand.

The level of excitement in the room now after Nikki basically dropped a bomb on Barbie was incredibly. Both women could not stop smiling now, Barbie was so confused but at the same time was so happy with the fact that her friend was going to be a wife! "Well..you see, Barbz." Nikki spoke softly and giggled a little bit, she knew that teasing Barbie with not telling her the news right away was absolutely evil, but she was enjoying the hell out of it.

"Nikki!! Don't make me wait! Pleaaase!!!" Barbie smiled a little and giggled as she was totally begging Nikki to explain to her how she was asked to be someone's wife. Hell, Barbie just wanted to know who exactly Nikki was dating at this point. It was weird, Nikki didn't even tell Bri that she was engaged. But at the same time, how could she tell her that she was? Bri was in a world of hurt, and this new was totally not the right idea.

"Well, for one..it's Nick Nemeth. Y'know, Dolph Ziggler? Yeah, well..after John and I split up for the LAST time..I was done, I was physically drained with life. John wasn't a bad guy, but he definitely was not for me..I wanted to marry him and have kids eventually with the guy. But he was totally unwilling to do anything for us. It was all about him, him, him, him and one more person..HIM! I just got so sick of it, also..his dick was way too small..And Nick never stopped loving me, throughout all the crap that I had to deal with overall with injuries, and Bri, and my family..He was always the one constant that no matter what I was going through..He was there for me. He always texted me and offered to just take me away, to like freakin' Jamaica. He has always wanted what's best for me, and you remember we dated for like years a while ago, right? Well now I'm done settling for what makes some unappreciative asshole happy. I want what makes me happy, the best part, Barbz? He's happy with me. He appreciates me just being myself..and that is honestly the most beautiful thing I could ever ask for.."

Barbie watched her as she spoke, the joke caused her to laugh hysterically, but, she took note of the fact that Nikki was so happy she could hardly keep still. The smile that Barbie had plastered on her face was absolutely huge, she was so overjoyed with the fact that one of her best friends was this okay and happy with her life. "That is truly incredible, Nicole. I can't tell you how freaking happy this makes me to hear that you have basically..correct me if I'm wrong, you've found THE one.."

"I did..and it's a beautiful thing. He had me at this little dinner..and we were just cuddling after we ate, feeling totally like we just got filled with hot air. And marriage came up for the first time in weeks. I had told him that I almost just totally gave up on the whole thing, something like that would take me absolutely passed retirement before I get it..And he goes, check this out, he goes, 'Well what the hell am I gonna do with this?' and he pulled out the ring box and popped it open. I fucking, CRIED! You have no idea, Barbara, I cried my ass off at that. He dropped to a knee and asked..I haven't even told Bri yet, she is just having too rough of a time, y'know? I will tell her eventually, hopefully things start to go her way..and then we all can be happy!"

Barbie nodded again, finishing off her wine glass and then setting it down. Once she cleared her throat, she shook her head, "I am so gonna need a refill, get to it! Wife to be.." Barbie laughed at her incredibly lame joke and smiled at Nikki. Nodding, Nikki grabbed the wine bottle and filled both their glasses up again, "Such a bitch." She giggled quietly and rubbed her forehead, "Oh I forgot to mention, the sex is fucking amazing too" Barbie and Nikki both laughed hysterically and Nikki actually snorted in her laughter. Both women were having an absolute blast together and honestly? It almost made Nikki forget that her sister was immensely depressed.
