The room grew silent. No one would even honestly guess that there were two people in there, none the less two married people. Bri looked around and saw all the little things hanging up in the locker room walls in the TD Garden in Boston. Tons of sports memorabilia, memories, all the fun that has been had here and there was still such a down, depressed and utterly painful feeling in the room. Bri not only had opened herself up for Saraya and told her the secret, but now she told Bryan how she actually felt. The bearded man look over at Bri and shook his head, before speaking in a shaky tone, "What took you so long.."
That sent shockwaves throughout Bri's body, she didn't know that not only did she want to get divorced, but HE did as well. Which really meant to her that he was already thinking of this before she even brought it up. How long was he thinking about saying this to his wife? How long has this feeling been building up in him? Bri shook her head and spoke quietly, "Seeing you again is what it took to make me realize how much I can't be around you anymore." Bri stood up slowly and brushed off her pants, she wasn't in her ring gear for the woman did not have a match luckily, she found out via text that she would be accompanying Alicia Fox as a valet.
Bryan did not move, it almost seemed to cut deep into his soul hearing the woman he loved, or at least said he loved, say these things to him. If someone were to walk in right now, she would be the villain, she would be the one scrutinized for how the situation looked. Little did anyone besides a very select few, Bryan was the real monster in all this. He was the one who forced Bri down this dark and deserted tunnel of nothingness and pain. He was the one who told her that she wouldn't be allowed to spend as much money on things she wanted, or see her friends and family whenever she did. Bri was on a leash, a spiked leash that anytime she tried to pull away, Bryan would yank on the chain and dig the verbal spikes into her neck till she gave in.
"What about the media? What about when you're on that show and they gotta show us. What then Bri? Have you even thought about that or are you just so self centered that you can't pull your head outta your ass long enough to see that a decision like this will have serious consequences.." Bryan's voice was beginning to gain in volume and it was becoming obvious that the man was angry, he was angry with it all. His injury, his wife, his job not clearing him when he knows damn well he could come back and be better than everyone else. Bri stopped dead in her tracks and turned around to face him, she then stared a hole through Bryan's eyes as he returned one equally as menacing and threatening.
Bri did not care anymore, if they were to have it out right here in the locker room and this was where it all ended? Who cares, at least there's a long end to this painful voyage which is the ultimate end. And she didn't care if this was it, not only did that show from her body language to a man who could legitimately hurt her, but it showed in how she carried herself overall as a person now a days. "How about you realize that the whole fuckin' world doesn't revolve around Bryan Danielson and his self centered, egotistical, pathetic desires. Or whatever you roll outta bed for now a days anyways. Honestly I don't give a shit, I'd rather lie to them and treat it as work."
Bri's words may have been harsh in nature and could have hurt Bryan's feelings, but in her head this was only a portion of the payback that she would extract from him. She was enjoying the fact that the pain was on his face, maybe he wasn't lying about how much he loved her, but he did take his sweet ass time showing it and when he did? It followed one hug and that was it, nothing else, no praising the fact that his wife is one of the centerpieces to one of the largest entertainment companies in the world. Not that she was in ridiculously amazing shape. Nothing, the praise factor with Bryan to Bri is better described as a void, an empty black hole that is invisible due to the fact that is does not exist.
Bryan clenched his fist into a tight ball. He hung his head low as he realized that due to the fact that they were at work, he really shouldn't get loud or scream at her. If that happened, who knows the punishment corporate would enact on the both of them. Arguing badly was exactly out of the realm of possibility. Not to mention, he did not close the door when he walked in the locker room, anyone within thirty feet could hear every word that the couple was saying. They weren't loud people per say, it was more of a who could be more firm and stern with how they spoke.
"I don't understand Bri, I really don't. Am I not good enough for you? Is providing for you and taking care of Blake not enough? What more do I have to do to prove to you that I'm different than I was before. I realized that I made mistakes and there's no excuse for how I treated you.." Bryan was actually beginning to plead with her in an effort to steer the heat off of him and possibly plant it firmly on her fully. This only caused Bri to toss her head back and peel a evil little grin across her face as she shook her head, laughing actually. Bryan was frustrated, "Oh so this is funny to you?"
"Ah but it so is Bryan. Don't you get it? Pieces of garbage like you don't change. You can't just go from, 'I get so mad that I assault my wife' to, 'Oh I'm sorry baby, please forgive me'. No, fuck you and all your bullshit lies I am totally done with it. Do you think it's easy to walk around and have people refer to me as Mrs. Danielson? Yea, I married you and that's legally my last name, but when I look at it, it's not Mrs. Danielson..No no, it's Mrs. 'I am determined to make my wife commit suicide and I'LL BE THE FUCKING VICTIM!!" Bri's voice drastically raised in volume and raspiness, she didn't realize that the door was closed at this point, the woman was like a bull and when she looked at Bryan...she only saw red.
Bryan did indeed listen to everything she said without interrupting her, he knew if he did that would only exasperate the fight and make this spiral out of control in a matter of moments. "Yea and have you ever heard of someone making a mistake, Brianna? I married you, I LOVE you..there is no one else I'd rather be with till the day I die. Remember? Till death do us part? I'm sorry for all I did and I promise that I can change if you just let me try.." The man kept a rather quiet, somewhat calm tone as opposed to Bri whose blood was boiling from anger.
Bryan looked over at the door and there wasn't anyone by it, but he saw that fire in Bri's eyes, the fire that was on the surface just a woman raising her voice, but inside it was that of a woman on fire, and screaming as loud as she possibly could. "You're ridiculous. You know that? If you honestly fucking think I'm going to back out of my decision cause of some kind of stupid apology you probably rehearsed in front of a mirror, you're dumber than you look. I promise you that. Oh and people make mistakes? You are SO right..Marrying you was one of them."
That did it, that caused Bryan to go over the edge, he stood up quickly and filled with a new sense of anger, the bench behind him flew back and crashed loudly on the floor, he didn't approach her, just stood there and stared. "You don't fucking mean that Brianna, don't you try and stand there and lie to me telling me that you regret our first child!" Bryan was shouting now, even louder than she was. Bri immediately uncrossed her arms and clenched her little fist into the tightest ball she has ever made, all she wanted to do was jump on Bryan and pound his face into hamburger meat.
As he got closer and the shouting intensified passed the point of being able to understand, a man walked by with a black tank top on and a pair of blue jeans. He was popping pieces of popcorn in his mouth as he heard what seemed to be excessive shouting coming from..the Bella's locker room? That's odd, Bri is the only one registered to that room and who on Earth could she be shouting at this badly. As he approached the door, he heard a man's voice, one that sounded like..Bryan? Why was he here, he wasn't supposed to be backstage at all..
"You're lucky we're at work Bri, you're so lucky we're at work you selfish bitch.." Bryan ran his hands through his hair and kept his tone loud and filled with rage. But all this did was cause Bri to put her hands in his face and shout back, "So you can fucking hit me, AGAIN?! Wouldn't be the first mark you leave on my body Bryan!" That was it, the man dropped the popcorn and raced inside, Bri spun around quickly and saw a nervous man walk in, she shook her head and realized it was her best friend Renee's boyfriend, Jon.
"Alright alright, I don't care what this is about, but this party is over." Jon got in between Bri and Bryan, luckily for her to be honest, with a few more moments uninterrupted SOMEBODY was getting struck. The scary part was that this had nothing to do with Jon, he didn't need to butt in and get in the way of it but she was relieved he did. Bryan closed his mouth and shook his head, "And what are you gonna do about it if I say..Move you outta my way?"
Jon laughed and shook his head, "Well you see there sunny boy, I have a new technique where I hit you so hard that you forget that you're just a bearded moron who got knocked out for talking shit and threatening a woman. So get out of here, go on get lost." Bri's eyes widened a bit at his words and Bryan walked out of the locker room, Jon made sure to move Bri and keep her behind him as Bryan left. After he was gone and he slammed the metal door as hard as he could. Jon turned around to face Bri, with a smile on his face, all he had to say was, "Are you okay?"
