Bri hung onto Josh like the world was in the process of ending. The two exchanged many, many kisses after Josh spoke. He held onto Bri as tight as he possibly could. There wasn't a thing in the world that could possibly separate them from each other right now. It was so refreshing inside Bri's mind that this was happening, well, this way. Her night/morning was filled with tragedy, and it was about time that something pleasant happened to her. It was something she could most certainly get used to. After the two broke the final kiss, Bri looked down at him and bit her bottom lip, "You're so handsome.." She felt her cheeks blush lightly, and her face instantly became warmer. Josh was kind of surprised she was in a complimenty type of a mood. He smirked a bit, "You always lookin' amazin' girl. Ain't nothin' new there." Josh squeezed her little body as she wiggled to put her feet back on the ground, it was an amazing feeling to know that someone else in this cruel, cold world shared the same feelings as he did. Quite rare too. "You got me roses? And..is that a heart thing of chocolates?" Bri finally made her way to glance over at the things that Josh had set up for her. It was the sweetest thing any guy has ever done for her and she was more than welcome to it. "Hell yea I did girl, breakfast wasn't enough, had to make sure ya felt all kinds of valued right now.." Josh was such a kind hearted man, he really did love and care about Bri with every piece of his body, there was nothing he wouldn't at least try to do to make her feel important. Bri walked over to the roses and took a big wiff in, smelling the sweet aroma that the flowers gave off. "Mmm..They smell amazing, oh my gosh." Seeing Bri like this was all the reward that Josh could have asked for, he didn't need anything from her to say thank you, just her pure happiness would suffice.
"You know, you didn't need to-" Before she could finish her sentence, Josh had already known where she was going with it and didn't want her to complete the thought, "Nah, I didn't. But I damn sure did, and had no problem doin' so. Enjoy it girl." He half heartedly smiled over at her before sitting back down on the edge of the bed slowly. He figured that Bri would need some time to get accustomed to relaxation for the first time in, well, a while. Even their sex the previous day was kind of rough and insane. Relaxing before work might just be the best Medicine that Bri could really ask for. Bri snagged the box of chocolates and sat down wicked close to Josh, she rested her head on his shoulder and whimpered quietly. "Hey..what's a matter sweetheart? Don't tell me you don't like that kinda chocolate.." Josh was a little concerned, but he figured that this was normal considering the day that Bri was currently enduring. The tiny Mexican woman took a deep breath in before exhaling and whimpering again, "I don't want to go to work tonight. I just wanna stay here, with you..And relax and cuddle all night..Besides, can't they find someone else to be a whipping stick for just a night?" Bri's on television character has dropped in strength rapidly, and the fans were seemingly rejecting her with every single attempt she made at trying to look different, or act different. Her moveset was a focal point of the hate that the fans hurled at her, having been told to make sure to use Bryan's kicks and submission holds, Bri wasn't really equipped to deal with the criticism that the people of social media, and the crowd at large would give her, literally on a daily basis. "Girl you ain't a whippin' stick. People still love ya." Josh knew that Bri was constantly under fire from fans who thrived on giving the Bella Twin as hard of a time as they possibly could. It really broke his heart to see this, for it was entirely unnecessary.
"Do you not go on any form of social media..ever? Literally, go on my recent post on Instagram and count how many times you see hateful, or sexual things towards me. It's sickening. I'm getting to that point where the hate outweighs the love ten fold." Bri was dealing with a ton of shit right now, having to see people on social media, seemingly tear her apart for any kind of mistake she may or may not make. Sometimes it was the other girls not being as well skilled in the art of wrestling that made her look..clunky, and that was entirely not her fault. Yet guess who caught the brunt of the attacks? Bri did. "Fuck social media, I don't even pay attention to that shit, like ever girl. You shouldn't make it a point to see all that nasty shit people be sayin' about you. You've got, what, three million damn followers? You're bound to get the occasional person who just feels like bein' a asshole on the daily." Josh was correct, there were people on there who would go to anyone's page and just comment nasty things, Mercedes was becoming the new target of especially the sexual remarks. Being a tiny, pretty woman, Mercedes was being showcased a lot more to the fans of WWE, their mainstage Diva spotlight was fixating on her, and she was now beginning to feel the wrath that the fans had. It was hard to watch, but Bri did warn her when she was down in NXT that, well, once you debut? A storm is coming, a storm of ridiculous fans who hate you for things you've never done, who want you for nothing but sex, and you cannot let them get inside of your head under any circumstances.
