Making Up

Katie's POV

After Ross apologized, we got back together, told my parents, and left to go to the Lynchs, we got there. Ross opened the door. Rocky, Riker, Ryland were in the living room watching tv and Stormie was in the kitchen. I didn't know where Mark or Rydel was.

"Hey guys, Katie is here!" Ross said with a big smile.

"Did you say Katie?!" Rydel yelled from up stairs.

"Yes, I said. Katie!" He yelled back

Before the boys could even pause the TV, Rydel started running down the stairs, screaming,

"KATIE! KATIE KATIE KATIE KAAAAAATIE!"

She tackled me with a huge hug.

"Dang, you got down here before the boys could even stand up!" I said laughing.

"Yep!" She said.

The boys walked over to me.

"Hey, my other sister is back!" Riker said.

"Katie!!!!" Ryland said.

"Katie! Ahhhhh! Katie!" Rocky said.

They all gave me a big group hug at once.

Stormies came up and hugged me.

"Katie, we have missed you so much. Mark is at the store. He will be happy to see you."

"Ok, Ross, I know you just got back together, but Katie is gonna come with me real quick. Ok bye." Rydel said grabbing my arm.

"What?" He asked.

"Bye!" Rydel and me said at the same time.

We went in her room and sat on her bed.

"Spill!" She said.

I explained everything that happened. When I finished she squealed. 

"Oh yay!" She said attacking me with a hug.

"Now, let's go back down there." She said.

"Ok!" I said getting up.

When we got down there Mark was home.

"Katie!" He said giving me a hug.

We all went in the living room and talked. I started getting late, so I decided to leave. Ross drove me home.

"Sorry for everything." He said when we pulled up in my driveway.

"It's fine Ross. Goodnight, I love you." I said leaning in.

We kissed.

"Goodnight, love you to." He said.

I got out, went inside, and told my parents goodnight. I went to bed smiling.

The next day I woke up, took a shower, ate, and watched a movie. An hour after the movie Ross texted me.

Ross:
Get ready to go to the park at 2. 😉

Me:
Uh ok.

I got ready. By the time I got ready, Ross was at my house. We left and drove to the park. When we got there, he stated walking to a empty spot on the ground.

"So what are we doin?" I asked.

"Having a picnic, hanging out, playing games... We will be her for a while." He said winking at me.

We ate sandwiches and watermelons. We talked for a while, until Ross brought out the football. We tossed the ball for about 10 minutes. He threw the ball at me, and I caught it. Before i threw it back a smile started appearing on Ross's face.

"What?" I asked giggling.

Instead of answering he ran towards me and tackled me to the ground. He was on top of me. He took the ball and said,

"Ha!"

"Rooooss..." I whined giggling.

"Awe..." He said before kissing me.

As soon as we kissed I had a idea. I grabbed his shoulders, threw him on the ground and got on top of him. I took the ball and said,

"Ha!"

I got up and ran away. I ran to the spot Ross was in before tackling me.

"TOUCHDOWN!" I screamed.

He got up and started to pretend to be sad.

"Awe... Did my Rossy just get tricked?" I said walking towards him.

"Yes. Will you make me feel better?" He asked in a baby voice.

I put the ball behind me, so he couldn't take it and kissed his nose. We went and sat back down on our blanket.

"You got some skills." He said giggling.

"Yeah I know. I'm fabulous!!!" I said coolly.

We laughed. For the text 3 hours we played games and talked. When we were done with games, he brought out desert. We ate it all, then climbed a tree. We stayed up there and talked. When we jumped down he stopped me from walking.

"I have something for you." He said reaching in his back pocket.

He took out a necklace. It was a silver heart with smaller hearts in it. On the back it said, "K+R" with an infinity sign under it.

"Oh my gosh! Ross! It's beautiful! Thank you! I love it!" I said giving him a hug.

"I knew you would like it." He said turning me around.

He put it on me and turned me around facing him again.

"Forever." He said putting his hands on my waist.

"Forever." I said putting my hands on his shoulders.

We kissed. The kiss got bigger. I put my back against the tree. It felt amazing, our lips moving in sync. We got closer together. We made out for about 10 minutes. He stopped and smiled.

"Come here." He said grabbing my hand and pulling me to the blanket.

"Sit down." He said.

We sat down.

"Now look up." He whispered.

I looked up. It was the night sky. Tons and tons of stars. It was breath taking.

"Ross, it beautiful!" I said stunned.

"I've seen something more gorgeous than this." He said looking from the sky to me.

"What?" I asked.

"You." He said smiling.

"Awe, Ross." I said blushing.

We kissed then looked back up. Ross laid down and I laid beside him. We snuggled and stared at the night sky.

"I love you, Katie." He whispered.

"I love you to, Ross.

"Forever." We said at the same time.
