You were sitting at the tabel in your own little corner, where every book was just an armlength away. Your computer was infront of you and showed you informations about a monster which lived in the southern states.

"No. Look you have to rip its heart out to kill him.", you said again but with less patience. The phone was sticked between your ear and your shoulder because you had to type something.

"Who should I call? The ghost busters. Dumbass. I'm doing the research by my own.", you said angrily and closed your laptop.

The next thing he said was the cherry on top so you hung up without another word.
"Asshole.", you swore and slammed the phone back to its place on the wall. You had several phones hanging on the wall like Bobby told you to do, so you had a little order in your small office.

You were like an information centre to all hunters you knew since you couldn't hunt for about a year because of your injury. All day long you were in here cleaning, cooking and doing research for people who were about to die. Well, about to get killed.

Sometimes you thought you would loose your mind and at times like that you sat down infront of the window and watched the street. Clueless people walking their dog or an old couple taking a walk for the good old days sake. They all didn't know what lived in the shadows and they were happy. You loved to watch their carefree lifes.

You stood up from the uncomfortable chair and walked to the couch to sit down and turn the Tv on. You layed your injured leg on the couch so the pain would go away.
After a few hours you heard some coming in and looked up.

"Hey there.", you greeted the two exhausted brothers but didn't bother to stand up.

"Hey sweetheart. How was your day?", Dean asked with a sleepy voice and came straight over to you.

"Better then yours I guess.", you joked and lifted up your legs so he could sit down too.

"We know you hate being in here, not being able to hunt, but believe us many hunters wouldn't survive if they hadn't your help. You're important.", you heard Sam say from the kitchen. You rolled your eyes at his attempt to make you feel helpfull.

"You're like Bobby.", he added standing in the kitchendoor.

"He is an old drunk depressive father figure of yours.", you said spectical.

"I try to not take that personally.", you joked but looked down to your fingers. Your situation was miserable.

"Well done. Bitch.", Dean said and threw something at his little brother with an serious expression on his face.

"Jerk.", Sam answerd as always and came to you guys.

"Y/N. I didn't mean to..", he started to apologize but you cut him off.

"Shut up Sam. Since when are we in whiney-class? What are we going to do next? Cry and hug. Maybe we should do something like support group to handle our demons, what do you say? C'mon.", you said sarcastically and looked at him to show him that he didn't do something wrong.
"You two...are cruel. Just found each other perfectly.", he said and crossed his arms infront of his chest.

"Well, boo-hoo. You two go take a shower and I'll make you something to eat, alright?", you suggested and stood up and went to the kitchen limping slightly.

You cooked them a fast meal. Just some pasta with sauce and poured yourself some wine in a cup.
"I think you didn't drink.", Dean said into your ear after he hugged you from behind wraping his arms around your waist and placing his chin on your shoulder.

"Well, I do since the pankillers stopped being effective.", you answerd grumpy. You weren't mad at him. You were just mad in general because of your state.
