The plane landed and I was extremely eager to go. Jake said he was on a flight 2 hours after mine. I was so excited! Only 2 hours until I would see Jake!
We went through the mall to buy some new shorts, shirts, jeans, and dresses. Then we went to the nearest shoe store to get sneakers, sandals, and regular heels.
After our shopping spree, we went straight home to unpack. When we got to our new 2 story house, there was an extreme surprise waiting there.
Jake was there with a little Cocker Spaniel with floppy ears and caramel brown fur.
"Oh my gosh! You're here!!" I said as I ran towards him and gave him a big hug, my arms around his neck.
"Who's this cutie?" I asked bending down to pet the Cocker Spaniel.
"This is Kalel. She's your new puppy" said Jake, handing me the cute dog.
"Aww" I hugged Kalel. She was so soft.
"Where'd you come up with the name?"
"It's the name of my sister. The one you saw at school."
"She's so cute and fluffy!" I said in my speaking-to-dogs voice.
"Well, she's yours," he said smiling a sheepish smile. Dang, he was cute.
"How about this. She's ours," I said setting Kalel down on the floor. He just smiled.
"So, when are you 2 going on a date?" my mom asked. Crap, I forgot she was there.
"Mom, umm.." I said flicking my eyes to Jake then back.
"Okay then, I'll let you have your privacy. I'll be unpacking in my room"
My mom could be a pain sometimes
"Well, I guess we'll be seeing each other a lot." I said, blushing like an idiot.
"Yeah. We should watch that movie sometime."
"Yeah. Hey, what's your new address?" I said.
He wrote his address on a napkin and handed it to me.
"Also, what school are you gonna go to?"
"Florida State High School" he said writing it down on another napkin.
"Cool. I'm going to that school!" I exclaimed, shocked that we were going to the same school again.
"So, let's go to that movie" Jake said.
