It was years later now. Hunter and I had graduated high school and college and were moving in together, with Kalel too. We had found a house for sale somewhere in the city and were moving our stuff into it.
It had 2 stories. On the bottom floor, there was a nice little kitchen and a counter with stools, a living room with a cyan couch to match the white walls, a glass coffee table, and a flat screen TV, and there was a small bathroom down there. On the top floor, there was a guest room, a bedroom with a 2 person bed, a big dresser with a mirror, and a bathroom. Lastly, there was a main bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet.
I had become an author and Hunter was an artist. We both had stay-at-home jobs, so we could see each other at all times.
This day, we had taken a break from moving our stuff to go to the park and have a picnic. I brought fruit, ham and cheese sandwiches, and some chocolate chip cookies. For drinks, Hunter brought lemonade, his favorite and mine too.
We set down our blanket and opened up our basket. After we ate, we layed down in the grass next to each other and stared at the clouds.
"That one looks like a bird." I said, pointing up to it.
"That one looks like a ring."
"No, it looks more like--"
Right then, he pulled out a small, black box and opened it up, to reveal a diamond ring.
"Emily Taras, I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?"
I was so shocked! I loved him so much, so my only answer was-
"Yes. A million times yes! I can't believe this!" I was crying tears of joy. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed his cheek.
"I love you, Emily."
"I love you, too Hunter."
{Author's Note: :') OMG I'm crying, and I'm the one who wrote this, but sadly, the book is over. Tell me if you want a second book, because I do, too. But, you decide. Bai!}
