I saw Jake sitting on his bed and all around him were sheets of lyrics, and poems, and even some of his own songs. I never knew he was a creative softy.
"Hey" I said, knocking the door.
"Oh, hey. Um.." He pushed the papers off the bed. "Don't mind these."
"It's okay. I really like that you like writing and singing. It's sweet." I said, extremely blushing.
"Thanks, I never really told anyone that I liked to write, I just kept it to myself and wrote about my feelings," he said, looking at the floor, blushing, the entire time.
"Your welcome. It's really, truly...cute." I said, giggling as I talked the whole time.
"Hmph. I'm a guy. Most people wouldn't like a guy who likes to write and sing."
"That is so not true! I love you for that! It's adorable. I like to write, too." I said, trying to comfort him.
After that, I just sat there and listened to him sing to me. I helped him write new songs, poems, and stories. I really felt like we were perfect!

The next day, Jake and I went to the mall and walked around, looking at all the stores. We weren't looking to buy anything, so we just walked passed looking at all the different products sold in the stores.
"Look! These are so cute! We should get one!" Jake said, as we passed a Build-A-Bear Workshop. I thought it was kinda cheesy, but I went inside anyways.
We made 2 Build-A-Bears. Mine was a Coconut White bear with blue jeans, a pink sweater, and little high tops. Jake's was the same color, with green shorts, black sneakers, and a blue dinosaur shirt.
I knew Jake was silly, but he sure acted like a child when he finished making his Build-A-Bear. He held it up in the air and hugged it, like a 2 year old hugging it's blanky.
After that, we headed to a Starbucks near my house and we both had a hot chocolate. Along with the warm cocoa, we had chocolate chip cookies that were freshly baked. After we finished our cookies, we talked. Talked about us, about life, about everything.
I could really trust him. Trust him like a brother. But that's a weird analogy, considering Jake's my boyfriend. I just love him. c:
