The next day was a Saturday. Mom and I spent the day getting the house decorated, because we were inviting Jake and his mom to come over for lunch. After that, we were gonna go to the park and walk around a little bit.

After about a half an hour, Jake and his mom arrived for lunch. Mom had made Tuna Fish Sandwiches, her specialty. It was my favorite, but I decided to share with Jake. We ate from both sides until we got to the middle. We just blushed and turned away.

It was like The Lady and The Tramp. Cute!

Later on, we walked to the park. I took Kalel with me, because she needed to get outside, for such an inclosed puppy. We let her run around for a few minutes, and then we set up our spot in the grass.

We layed down the red and white checkered blanket and put down the wicker basket with our lunch inside. We sat down and I picked Kalel up on my lap. I pet her head while Jake took out our lunch. We packed a plastic pitcher of lemonade, 2 Subway sandwiches, a big bag of Lays Salt & Vinegar Chips,  plastic cups, some dog food for Kalel, and 2 Tuna Fish sandwiches.

We spent the rest of the afternoon at the park, eating our lunch and playing frisbee with Kalel.

After our wonderful day at the park, we went home and Jake and I watched a movie on the couch. 2 hours later, Jake had to leave. We stood in the doorway talking for a little bit.

"Remember when you threw the frisbee so far, it hit a huge tree?" Jake said, laughing really hard as he spoke.

"I remember. Then Kalel, still went running for it and ran into the tree? Poor little baby" I said. Kalel actually had run into a tree, so we had to let her rest for a while.

A few minutes of conversation went by, and I found myself getting closer and closer to him, and ending up kissing. The kiss was a few seconds, after, we just stood there, really awkward. He said bye, and I returned his goodbye.

When he left, I pushed my back against the wall and slid down until I fell to the floor. I slowly took myself to my room, being super exhausted. I changed and lay down on my bed in my soft pajamas. I lay there for, about half an hour, staring at the ceiling, until my eyes were feeling so heavy and droopy, and I soon fell asleep.
