I looked up and saw Hunter standing right above me.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"I looked down and murmured, "Jake chea----"
"Jake what?"
"Jake cheated----"
"Jake cheated on--" I said again
" I can assume" he said. He took my sleeve and pulled me up into a standing position and wrapped me into a hug.
I was shocked for a bit, then started to embrace back. After some seconds, I started to cry more. He held my head in his hand and tilted his head onto mine. He was a bit taller than me.
Now that I think about it, his features were a lot more cute up close. The way his collar bone stuck out. The dimples when he smiled. The freckles under his eyes. And his scruffy, dark brown hair and the way his bangs fall into his eyes.
I pulled back from his hug and looked into his crystal blue eyes. His eyes. They were like small crystals. I got drawn to him very quickly. I got closer. And then, it happened all at once.
