Chapter Two

I started school today. It was halfway through senior year and most of the kids had been there since elementary. It would be hard for me to fit in since I was quite new but I was excited to start at a new school. I was woken by the sun pushing itself through the blinds, which I had forgotten to shut before I went to sleep. Groaning, I pulled myself out of bed and rubbed my sleepy eyes. It was 7:24 and I had to be at school for 8. I walked over to my closet and grabbed some clothes. I changed and went downstairs to where Charlie was cooking toast. His paper lay opened on the table with the head line 'ANIMAL ATTACKS AGAIN'. I sat down opposite and a piece of butter toast was placed in front of me.

"Thanks" I said smiling and picking up the toast. Charlie sat down in front of his paper and sipped on his coffee.

"You excited for your first day of school?" asked Charlie

"I guess" I said shrugging

"Bella's like that" He said smiling. I sighed and stood up. In the few days I had been here he had mentioned Bella 90% of the time. I grabbed my coat and my bag before saying goodbye to Charlie and walking out of the door.

I pulled up outside of the school and looked around. The car park was filling up so I parked my car and got out. I walked into the office and waited for the lady to come and help me.

"Hi, I'm Emily Swan. I'm new here" I said

"Oh yes", she said. She rustled around under the desk and handed me a piece of paper.

"This is your schedule" she said smiling, "You first class starts in five minutes". I nodded and walked out of the office and to my first class which was Algebra. I spent that five minutes finding the class and I barely made it. I walked up to the teacher and introduced myself before she sat me down in the second row. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a familiar face. It was Rosalie Cullen, the girl from the medical centre. She was still as beautiful as before. I didn't stare but instead I carried on with my work.

After fourth period it was lunch and I had found two girls to sit with. Sara Fergusson and Eve Tyrol. They were in my English class which was where I had met them. We were sat down eating out lunch when a group of people came into the room.

"Is that the Cullens?" I asked recognising the eyes. Sara looked over at the group of people.

"Yeah, that's them" Sara said.

"The dark haired one is Alice, she's a bit weird and the guy next to her who looks like he is in pain is Jasper they're together. Then there's Emmett the dark hair guy who looks really bulky and his girlfriend Jess, she's the tall one with the dirty blonde hair" Eve said.

"Then there is Rosalie, she is the one with the long blonde hair, and finally Edward. He is like the most gorgeous but he isn't good enough for anyone here" Sara sighed. I ignored that though because my eyes were drawn to Rosalie. When I was looking at her she noticed me and smiled. I saw her beckon me over and I stood up.

"Hey, I'm gonna go but I wll see you in class" I said. Sara and Eve waved goodbye to me and I walked away towards Rosalie and the other Cullens. It was quite awkward since I only knew Rosalie. Rosalie smiled and me and moved so I could sit down. No one really talk for a minute of so but Rosalie was the first to speak.

"This is Emily. The one I was telling you about" Rosalie said. I was greeted by each of them and I had a nice conversation with them all.

It was the end of the day and Rosalie was taking me out to restaurant as a 'date' kind of thing. I went home and got changed into a nice set of clothes, and then drove to the restaurant. I parked my car outside and spotted Rosalie's red BMW that I saw her drive away in when we left school. I entered the restaurant and spotted her instantly. She stood out from everyone else, a faint glow radiated of her skin and her long blonde hair was plaited. Walking over there, I observed the restaurant. It was beautiful, it has plants around it and it was the most amazing one I had ever seen. I sat down in front of Rosalie and smiled.

"Hey", I said smiling shyly

"Hi, you look beautiful" Rosalie said. I blushed at the comment and tuck a small strand of hair behind me ear.

"Thank you, you look beautiful too" I pointed out, "So what do you want to eat?"

It was getting to the end of the night and we had had the most amazing time. The only thing was that although she had been doing in conspicuously, I had noticed Rosalie pushing the food into a napkin. When she had filled her napkin she went to the bathroom and the napkin was gone. Of course I didn't say anything to her but it slightly bothered me. Once we were done with our meal we paid for our dinner. Rosalie insisted she pay for it and I let her because I didn't want an argument. We walked outside and stood by my car.

"So I will see you tomorrow" I said smiling at her.

"See you tomorrow" she said. She leaned in closer to me and pressed her lips to mine. I let her kiss me and we were stood there for a few moments. We pulled away with smiled on our faces.

"I will see you tomorrow in Algebra" Rosalie said, a slight grin on her face. I nodded and got into my car. I was sat there for a few minutes thinking about what happened. I had just had my first kiss with the most beautiful woman in existence; it was the best thing that had ever happened to me.
