Aspen P.O.V
The bus pulled away from his house and I couldn't stop my thoughts from wondering to the last thought that left his mind.
I came to the conclusion that my mom was lying to me. It wouldn't be the first time.
What did that mean? I would've envisioned him but it takes a lot, and I wouldn't have had enough time. Envisioning someone means that I look into the persons major memories and get some sort of reading of what had or is happening in their life. It can be helpful. Sometimes. Other times it can just be a pain in the ass.
"Next stop, the cabin! Andiamo!" Adonis was italian. So was I, but I don't speak it as much as him. (Andiamo means Let's go!)
"Yeah..." I trailed off. Hoping he didn't catch my uncertainty, but mind you, he's Adonis. Of course he did.
"What's up, kiddo?" he asked playfully, but I, also am good at seeing emotion, caught the concern in his voice.
"His last thought was: I came to the conclusion that my mom was lying to me. Wouldn't be the first time. I don't I'm may be just dreaming, but that was pretty cryptic." I didn't think twice about answering, I could tell him anything.
"Now, Aspen, don't go around butting your way into other peoples life. Even if thats what you always do." Adonis joked.
We said in unison. "Cavallo que corre non ha bisogno di sproni." (That means: Do not spur the willing horse) We burst out laughing, that was our thing. Whenever someone new came into our lives we wold always have this need to know them. We would never act on it, of course, but it was still there. Anyways, if one of us made a comment on it, we would say our saying. Depending on how you take the saying it could actually mean something, or it could just sound like a bunch of bull.
My laughs were always forced, I couldn't feel emotions. If I did I would just end up getting hurt. Like crying, instead of tears it's blood. Very gruesome. That is why I have taught myself to control them. I want to feel them again. But I can't and I never will. Because I screwed that up somehow. I don't even remember. I remember everything else except that. That one crucial part. The part that ignited that stomach churning pain.
I shook my head from my cursed thoughts, as I focused back on where we were at the moment. We were outside our cabin, I say Adonis trying to unlock the door. I got to him as fast as I could, not wanting him to break down the door... again.
"Calmati amico." I said resting my hands on his and relaxed his muscles.
"Thanks..." he trailed off. His face beat red. Adonis is a Magi, and Magi's can't control their anger. Since they are mage's with demonic abilities. When Adonis was a mage he had a temper, a big one at that. And that was amplified, making it nearly impossible to control his rage. But remember, I was an angel before I fell. Any kind of angel needs to develop their angelic powers. When a angel has committed treason, they are sent to the chamber. Where, Lucifer himself, punished them. 9 out of 10 times they are turned into fallen angels. Where an angel falls to Earth form Above, it loses it's angelic powers and is granted with demonic powers. But, the problem was they were still angels. They started to develop their angelic powers back. At a very slow pace, though. Bounty Hunters are sent from Above to hunt these creatures, so they won't develop their angelic powers back. Since I am very far in my fallen angel state I am able to use a small amount of my angelic powers. And that includes relaxing the muscles to bring down anger and fiery rage.
"Nessun problema, amico mio." I replied. (Means: no problem, my friend.)
