Colton's P.O.V

I walked into school next morning, not expecting to be pulled out of class to go to the office.  Oh gosh, what did I do this time.  I thought as walked through the dreaded door.

"Mr. Elliots, we have your schedule ready for you." the office administrator said, handing me a small piece of paper.  I looked at it as I walked out.

P1- Math

P2- English

P3- Phys. Ed.

-------------Lunch-------------

P4- Art

P5-Physics

P6- French

I memorized my time table as I walked to math.  It didn't take long to arrive.  I knocked twice and pushed the door open.  Every head turned in my direction, not thinking that the new kid was in their class.  I scanned all the faces in the room and found Miranda waving me over near the back.  I glanced at the teacher, expecting whoever they were to say something.  But, to my surprise they weren't there.  I walked over to the back, and sat next to Miranda.

"Hey! I didn't know you were in this class." she stated.

"Oh, yeah... I just got my time table." I said winking at her, causing her to blush.  I never liked it when girls blushed, they just looked weird, it's just a comment.

My thoughts were cut off from the sound of the door slamming shut, thinking it was the teacher, I looked over, only to be surprised that it was Aspen walking through the door.  Whispers erupted throughout the class.  Aspen just walked past all of them towards the bottom corner of the classroom.

Once the teacher walked in, everyone shut up with their annoying loud whispering.  I felt bad for her.  I really did.  Having to go to school everyday, knowing that people were going to make fun of you.  I wanted to help her, but I didn't need another lecture from Aunt Pat.  Plus, I didn't want rumours about myself going around.  I now that's selfish but I can't help it.  It's who I am.  Conceited, arrogant, egoistic, good-looking, athletic player.  Who has a knack for kicking a ball into a net.

"COLTON!" the teacher, who I have no idea the name of, yelled.  I, only know realized that I was blankly staring at Aspen.  Everybody's eyes were at me, some trying to hold back their laughter, others wearing confused looks.  Aspen had her head in her hands, leaning back in her chair, eyes closed.  Totally oblivious to her surroundings.  I'm sure my cheeks were as red as a firetruck.  I bowed my head, trying to hide my blush.

"Mr.Elliots, please pay attention in my class." the teacher said, looking pointedly at me.

"Yes ma'am." I said, immensely embarrassed at my weird behaviour, what was this girl doing to me?  She keeps running through my thoughts, wrecking my player ways.  I need to do something about this.  Fast.

The bell ringing stopped my thoughts from wandering to far.  I packed my stuff and rushed out of class and sped-walked to english.  I got there a little late due to getting lost in the medium sized school.  I mumbled an apology, and took the last seat.  Much to my disappointment Aspen wasn't in this class.

"I'm Christopher."  The guy-Christopher-beside me said beside me, with an outstretched hand.

I took the hand and gave it a firm shake, "Colton." I said, nodding my head curtly.  He had dark brown hair, darker than mine.  Brown eyes, square jaw, strong build, I would say 6'2 to my 6'4.  I could be good friends with this dude.

The teacher started the lecture and before I knew it the bell was ringing and Christopher was talking again.  "What do you have next?"

"Gym. You?" I asked.

"Same, here I can walk with you."  He said walking out the classroom, me quickly following behind.  I really didn't know where to go for this school.

Once we were changed into our gym clothes and on in the gym waiting for our teacher, I realized this guy was really nice.

"Hey thanks man, for, you know, showing me around and stuff." I thanked.

"No problem, man, you seem cool.  You wanna sit with my friends and I at lunch?" he asked, not much care in his voice.

"That'd be cool, man." I said with a small smile.
