Aspen's P.O.V

I sat on the armchair in front of the burning fire.  I had just got back from the park, Adonis had asked questions why I was so late, but I ignored all of the them.  He knew just to leave me when I don't want to talk.  The burning fires reminds me of the first time I encountered a Dark Angel Hunter.  Also, the time I met Adonis.

It's been fifty years since I fell, and I was confused and alone.  I didn't know what to make of my situation.  I thought, if I went with the flow everything would be alright, but yet again I was wrong.  I was different from when I was a normal angel.  I had only heard rumors of the fallen angels, and now that I am one, I don't know what think anymore.

Rumors were always a thing in the Above, some were ridiculous, others were not that hard to believe.  But the one of the fallen angels, was one of the most unrealistic rumors there were.  And now that I knew it was real I didn't know what could possibly be out there.

I lived in a small house on a quiet road.  No one ever bothered me, and I never bothered them.  It was the year of 1783, everything was different from the current century.  I didn't know what to do, just sit here and wait?  Roam the world, forever alone?  I knew everything was complicated, but what I didn't know was things were going to get a little more complicated.

It was about 1:30 a.m. when I heard a noise at the front of the house.  It sort of heard like a lighter being flipped open, then the mighty flame dancing in the early morning air. I shrugged the noise off, and continued reading. The sound happened two more times and, I was starting to get annoyed. So, like those stupid cliche horror movie girls, I went to check it out. Bad. Move.

Outside was nothing but a silver lighter floating in the air, the flames dancing wildly with the wind. I furrowed my eyebrows and looked around, nothing. I heard the bushes too my side rustle from movement. 'Only the wind.' I thought. I shook my head, why did I even think it was anything else. I chuckle at myself, I can be really stupid sometimes.

Suddenly, the flames disappears. Not the lighter only the flame. The lighter is flung inside my quiet home and lights itself once again. Spreading through the cracks of the hardwood, fire makes intricate moves throughout the first story. I look back through the door to find a man with dark brown hair, chocolate brown eyes, and a magnificent pair of white wings. Dark Angel Hunter.

I thought they were just rumors, but somehow I just knew it when I say it. He swung a shining great sword out of it sheath, and proceeded into a fighting stance. I disappeared into the kitchen, knowing that that was the first place to find a weapon. I took the biggest knife I could find, looking at it, I knew it was nothing compared to the saber he wield.

Rushing back to his scent, I immediately swung for a hit, but missed by a long shot. We continued our sophisticated combat. When suddenly his head flew, disembodied for his neck. I gaped in shock of this miracle. The reality set in and I knew I didn't do that, I had only hit him once and that was in the thigh.

"Whose there?!" I shouted into the dark. A tap on my shoulder startles me, I whip around as fast as I can, too come face to face with a God-like man.

"Hi, I'm Adonis, and I just saved your ass." he stated.
