Does the truth really set you free... chap 6

"Does the name Tyler Coast mean anything to you?" Her face becomes white. All of her happy emotions were gone. She seems so lost for words. I guess I answered my own question.

"W-why do you ask?" She won't meet my eyes. "Are you okay?" I reach over and place my hand on her shoulder. I feel her trembling. "Hes-hes" tears form in her eyes. I pull her into a hug before she breaks down. "Its okay Alex, I'm here" I lightly rub her back. This is the first time in a long time that she a has cried like this. "He-he"she is stuttering. "Shhhhhhh" I whisper to her. She's about the same height as me maybe a little taller. She has her head nuzzled in my neck and shoulder. I feel my shirt soaking up her wet eyes. "Alex, its okay, follow my breathing." I try to take slow deep breaths. I feel her starting to do the same. She is calming down and I start to release from the hug. Alex pulls back and whips her eyes. Her face is red and her eyes are glossy. She meets my eyes and I see so much pain and fear. "I know him and so do you" she mumbles. Had I heard him before? "I dated him for a year, do you really not remember him?" I stay silent. "He went to Valley View High and you have met him but he use to die is hair blonde and wear green contacts" Tyler with blonde hair and green eyes? It sounds familiar."I-I" her eyes start to tear up. I grab her hand a give it a small squeeze. "I use to call him Ty" Ty! Holy shit! I do know him! Alex and him dated for the longest time! That asshole broke up with her four times! I tried to tell her not to take him back but she wouldn't listen. I couldn't blame her. She loved him. But after the forth time she was done. He had broken her. He tried to get her back but she wanted nothing to do with him."I remember" I say in a whisper. I can't believe I like the guy that broke her heart! "W-why do you ask about him?" She stutteres out. Do I tell her I like him? Do I say nothing? "Well I.." "Hey you guys, church is starting!" I turn back to see Danielle motioning us to come inside. Thank you Danielle. I nod and look back at Alex and she's staring at the ground. I grab her hand and start pulling her toward the building "Come on, let's go get your mind off things" Alex nods her head and let's me lead her to the door.

Church gets over and Alex left about half though. She didn't even say bye to me. I have no idea what I am going to say to her. Do I go to her house and talk to her or do I wait till she's calm down some to say something?

Short chapter! I want to say that I'm really enjoying writing this story. The reason why I named this story Choices was because of all the different things that could have happened if Sarah did something different. What if she would have gotten away with being sick, would she have met Tyler? What would happen if she went to Alex's house? What would happen if she doesn't go?

Because of the short chapter I'll treat you all to have another chapter *drum roll* tomorrow!
