Tyler's POV

I walk through the English building. Not may people here. Lunch just got over and I left Charlie and Roxanne at are usual spot at one of picnic tables near the front of the school. Not to many people are out there. Sometimes we'll watch the cars go by and if we are really bored we'll make up stories about the people driving them. I still can't get over the time that this hundred and three year old grandma went speeding by the school and Roxanne said "Her grandson must have called her and said there was no food." I smile at that memory. Good times. I love my friends and I wouldn't trade them for anything. We are pretty tight. We always have eachother back. Right now, I'm helping Charlie get a girl, which is easier said than done, but she's just not into him. Shes to high strong if you ask me. Roxanne's thinks she's cute through so I guess she can't be that bad.

I walk into Ms. Scotts class. A couple of students are there but not many. I take a seat in the middle of the room. Sarah's in this class so I put my backpack on the chair next to me. Damn that girl was fine as hell. I want her to be mine so bad. But Alex, I didn't know they were friends. Alex never said anything about Sarah. I guess she never came up. But Alex was the perfect girlfriend. She really did put up with all my shit. I feel like an asshole for dumping her so many times. I was just under so much stress and I didn't know what to do. I thought it was for the best that we broke up but the truth is, I miss her. She made me happy while my life was a wreak. But in the end I was a horrible boyfriend, and she moved on with out me. Im just not sure how much she'll move over to let me date her best friend. "Ayeeeee! Tyler!" I pick my head up to see Andrew with his hand out waiting for a shake. I take it and say "Sup dude!" He nods his head over to the desk my backpacks on. "That seat taken my man?" "Sorry bro it is" He gives me a small side smile and sits down behind me.
*Crash*
I look up to see sarah standing at the door way.
*Ding**Ding**Ding*
Shit man, I wish I had her luck. Damn. She is just so hot. Her faded pair of jeans strech just the right way around her hips and a gray hoodie that floats perfect around her chest. Her hair is in a messy pony tail that some how looks, well cute to say the least. I slide my back pack off the desk next to me and motion for her to come sit next to me. She looks around. I guess she doesn't like me as much as I like her. Well, we only hung out together like once and that was over a month ago but still we have talked, some. I'd like to get to know her more, that why I invited her to my party Saturday. She didn't text me back. Maybe she doesn't want to go with me or she didn't get my text. "Ms. Waters, if you want to teach the class about Passive and Active voice please do stay up here. If not, I'll be happy to start class once your seated." Sarah sighs and walks toward me. I smile as she sits next to me. I casually try to put my arm around her chair. I hear Andrew grunt behind me. The question is still going through my head. I take my arm back and sloppily rip a sheet of paper out of my book. I look up to see if Ms. Woods heard me. She glares at me for a second then goes back to teaching. I quickly go back to my paper. I need an answer or I'm going to freak out!
"Did you get my text last night?
~Tyler"
I starred at it. I took a deep breath and slide the note to Sarah. I'm to embarrassed to look at her but I could feel my face heat up and my mouth try to slip a smile. I can see out of the corner of my eye her reading the note. She writes something and slides it back. I quickly open it.
"Yes, I got it.
~Sarah"
So she did get it, so why didn't she text me back?
"You going to come?
~Tyler"
I write before giving it back to her.
I hope she comes. She could meet more of my friends and maybe family. I just hope she doesn't bring Alex. That would be weird.
"I don't know yet.
~Sarah"
I read the note and my face slums I glace over at Sarah before writing again.
"I hope you can, I'd have no fun without you:)
~Tyler"
I hope the smilely face changes her mind.
*Smack*
I flinch as a ruler smacks Sarah desk. Damn it, caught. "Ms. Waters and Mr. Coast, is there something that you would like to share with the class?" Ms. Woods is standing right over Sarah. Her glasses look like they're going to fall right off her face. "Not particularly" Sarah slickly says. Damn. Kind of hot watching her stick up for herself. Ms. Woods breaks the stare match by leaning over the note and looking at it. I look away knowing soon my teacher will know who I have a crush. I glance over to see Ms. Woods smiling at us. "If you do not wish to fail my class, please do try to pay more attention in it." Sarah shakes her head and Ms. Woods walks back to the board and continues teaching. I look over at Sarah. Maybe we do have a chance. I smile at that thought. The only thing that would stop us is Alex. She will come in between us. I clench my fist.
*Crackle*
I look down and I see my pencil in is my hand. I open it slightly to see its now broken. I look back a Sarah. One day, one day she'll be mine.

*Ding**Ding**Ding*
I look down at my blank paper. "Okay class if you didn't finish the classwork, its homework." I didn't even do it because I was watching Sarah. Shit man, who am I kidding I wasn't going to do it anyway. I crumble the paper in my hand. I look up to find Sarah but I only see the back of her head as she pushes through the door. As I walk out the door I sigh and throw away the paper. I hope she comes to my party. That's the only thing I can think about. Im about to go to my favorite classes when an idea pops into my head. I follow my thought knowing I will be late to class afterwards.
