I turn on my car and head to Tyler's party. I should have went there first I think to my self.

It's about an hour drive to Tyler's but it seems like six. I pull up and there are cars everywhere. I barley find a parking spot about three houses away. As soon as I step out of the car the music hits me. It's loud and powerful and the bass is bouncing. Once my ears adjust I slowly walk toward his house. Lights are flashing and people are running around. I thought this was going to be a small party but no theres are about fifty kids out here. There has to be more people inside, I think to myself. My heart starts to race. I push past the people and make my way to the door.

As I open the door someone is coming out. Next thing I know I have what smells like cheep beer on my chest. "Hey!" I scream. They turn around and their mouth drops open. Roxanne. Her eyes grow huge. "I'm so sorry Sarah! Here let me take you to the bathroom and we can try to clean you of" She grabs my arm and pulls me inside. I glare down at shirt. Great, I say to myself, my shirt is ruined. Roxanne leads me through crowds of people and many hallways. I glance at the group of people trying to dance. It's quite clear they have had way to many red solo cup drinks. It's quite humorous actually.

We finally get to the bathroom. I stare at myself in the mirror. My hairs a wreck, my makeup is smeared and worst of all there's a gaint alcohol stain on my shirt. "Ughhhhhh" I shake my head at the mirror and turn toward Roxanne. She blushing and looking at the ground. "Ummm, the-the best way to clean your shirt, wou-would be for you to ta-take it off." I look down at my shirt. I definitely can't go see Tyler looking like this. I take off my shirt and hand it to Roxanne. She tries not to make eye contact with me as she takes it and walks over to the sink. She turns the warm water on and slowly rubs my shirt with soap and water. She so concentrated. I guess she has done this many times. Soon the stain is gone and now the shirt is just wet in her hands. She turns off the water and for the first time in fifteen minutes she looks at me. As soon as our eyes meet her eyes budge and look back at the ground. Why is she being all shy? Has she never seen another girl in her bra before? "Its-its still a little wet" Her arm extends out and hands me the damp shirt. I grab it and slip both my arms in, then slide it over my head. I look back at the mirror. The stain is gone but now I have a ring of water in its place. The water will dry soon, I hope. I look back at Roxanne and again she's watching me. "Thank you," I begin "I would have never gotten that off without you." I smile at her. "You also wouldn't have gotten it on you without me." Roxanne shyly says. I laugh "Hey its alright" I grab her arm. Her face lights up with emotion and a smile slips from her lips. "Wanna go back to the party?" I ask. She just nods her head yes. I go to grab the door and the next thing I know it's swinging open. Wow. Twice in one night. I fall backwards, pushing Roxanne back. I try to spin around to catch myself. "Oops, I guess this bathroom it taken" The voice laughs as it walks away. I land on top of Roxanne. Her eyes meet mine. For the first time I can clearly see her eyes. They are brown except one eye is a different shade of brown than the other. I had never noticed this before. I go back and forth between her eyes. "Your-your eyes" I manage to say. "I have Hetero Chromia Iridum" Hetero chroma Iridum? I repeat in my head. "English please?" She smiles and says "Different colored eyes, I hate them actually." "Well I think they look beautiful" I smile at her. She grins back. I have been surprised many times today. By my moms six sense, Fisher and his love affairs, Roxanne spilling her drink on me, the door opening a second ago and knocking me over, but nothing compares to what is happening. Roxanne's lips are on mine. I'm not even moving. I don't know what to do. Shes kissing me with so much affection and I'm as still as a statue. I feel her place her hand softly on my lower back. It sends sparks through my body giving me goose bumps. I lose myself in the moment and start kissing her back. Our lips move in sync. My hand wanders to her neck pulling us closer. I hear the door creek open behind me. "Go Roxanne!" I hear yelled. I pull back and turn toward the door. Tyler. "Sarah?!" His face looks white as a ghost but I'm sure mine in as red as a tomato. "I-I can explain!" Color comes back to his face. Anger fills his eyes. "Save it, enjoy MY party" He storms of slamming the door behind him. Sigh. It's at the moment I realize I'm still on top of Roxanne. I quickly get to my feet and she follows soon after. "I-I'm sorry" She rubs the back of her neck where my hand once was. I look back at the door. If I leave now Tyler won't be as hard to find. But that kiss was amazing. I look back at Roxanne. I'm not sure if I really want to leave.

Is Roxanne getting in the way? Or is she the way?

I am by no means apposed to homosexuals. My opinion is against my own religion, but I believe love is love.
