Epilogue

I moved a small box into Khalif's and mines new house.
I was seven months pregnant so it's kinda hard to do stuff without my belly getting in the way.
Jimmy and Rodney carried in the sofa.
"Good cause I needa sit down," I groaned.
Alicia came in with our ice cream.
We've gotten closer than we ever were.
On top of the fact that we were both pregnant, we were both carrying boys.

Janelle dragged in a bucket. "Dis going in my room!" My little 5 year old said.

"Your toys?" I ask.
She nodded.

"Get down there and carry something, Nae,"Jimmy joked.
"Nigga I'm carrying your nephew, calm down," I countered.
He laughed.

I sat my ice cream on my stomach and took a picture.
I posted it and put the caption as "when you so big you use ya stomach as a table".
Eventually, Kj started kicking.
"Ouch ok, calm down," I said as I took it off.

"Don't be giving your mama a hard time," Alicia said to the baby.
He kicked one last time, then stopped.
"I have to go pee," I said as I stood up.
"For the millionth time," Alicia added.
"He's right on my bladder!" I said as I waddled away.

After I went to the the bathroom, my phone rang. I answered it.

Phone Call
Me: Hello
Carter: I see you moving in with your boyfriend
Me: What the hell? How do you know this?
Carter: I'm closer than you think
Me: Carter what do you want from me?
Carter: I turned on everybody but you, Tika and Chelsea for a reason, especially you. I wanna play a game that I know I'll win
Me: What are you talking about?
Carter: I can't ruin the surprise. Long story short, you, and every one you love will be dead by the end of the end of this game
Me: I stay ready mother fucker so think you boutta hurt my family
Carter: I'll start in two months after you and Alicia's babies are born. KJ and Janelle will be the first to go and I'll send you their bodies as a birthday present

The line went dead. Fear surged through my body. I moved as fast as I could to Khalif with teary eyes.

"What's wrong, calm down," he says holding my arms.

"C-Carter's out and-and he knows everything. He knows I'm due in two months, he knows I'm moving in with you, even knows the baby's name and he said he's going to killed everyone starting with the kids--"

"Calm down, I got you. You know I'd do anything for you and my family. We won't let him touch our kids, or anyone we know," he wrapped his arms around me.
Tears still fell.
I soon stopped.

"Let the games begin, bitch."
