Dan's place...California

I woke up with a massive headache. I couldn't even lift my head without giving up halfway. Even of last night washed over me like a wave and I felt a sudden pang of guilt and panic. Maybe last night never never happened. Maybe it was just another nightmare. But the throbbing pain of my arms and wrists said otherwise.

"Good. You're awake," Jacky made herself noticed as she stepped out of my bathroom with a bucket of dirty water in her hand. She must have seen my gaze on the bucket because she then spoke, "I was cleaning up." I muttered a slow thank you and she headed out of my bedroom. She came back two seconds later and put a key on my dresser.

"That's a second key for this door. Thought you might want it."

"I'm sorry about last night," my voice was so soft I didn't think she heard me.

"I'm sorry too," then the door clicked behind her and I was alone in my room to ponder over everything. I hated what I was doing though- sitting there feeling sorry for myself- so I got up and got ready for Indiana.

When I was ready and had my packed bags next to my door, Jacky walked in with a box in her hands.

"I-I got this," she handed me the box and I opened it. "You can have it in conditions that you call me when you get there and every night before you go to bed."

''Thank you so much," that's all I could say. I never really got excited for anything.

"No problem. I programmed my number on there. Your friend and her brother are here."

Brother?

"Okay," I said, grabbing my luggage and walking down the stairs behind Jacky.

"So you kids have fun," Jacky smiled at us with approval.

"Yeah. Thanks again for allowing her to go," Jessica offered her hand to shake Jackys. She is really good at kissing ass.

We loaded my stuff in the car and we were off. There wasn't much communication but I was okay with that. I could imagine we were all just comfortable  with our thoughts.
"When do I start training?" I broke the silence and caught attention of both Jessica and Spencer.

"What?" Spencer sounded confused.

"For the competition," I informed.

"Ohh yeah. I don't know yet. We will have to check with Christian," Spencer said.

For a split second I had forgotten who that was.

"Okay."

The Mount Hotel...Indiana

Last night when we got here and checked in at the hotel we were staying at, we were strained. We were too tired to plan anything so we went straight to bed and left everything for this morning.

We all got ready for the day and prepared for breakfast in the hotel restaurant.

"What are we gonna first today?" Spencer asked while receiving the menu from the restaurant's waitress.

"Well I thought maybe we could go to my old house and just see how things are. Jessica and I discovered a shitload yesterday and I want answers from that too.''

"I told him everything," Jessica cut in.

"Fair enough. But I was thinking we go to the photography studio and get as much information as possible," Spencer suggested.
