"So, she was okay with me being your girlfriend?" you asked Lauren, running your hands through her hair.
Her head was on your chest and her arms were wrapped around your body.
"Yeah," Lauren said, "She was cool with it. Amber didn't really comment on it."
You hummed in response, not having anything to say about your sister.
"You should talk to her," Lauren mumbled, "To your sister."
You sighed, "I know. But what do I say?"
"I don't know, uh, just get to know her?" Lauren suggested.
You groaned and rolled over, straddling Lauren. Lauren smiled up at you, causing you to smile at her.
You leaned down and softly kissed her. Lauren smiled against the kiss, wrapping her arms around your neck and pulling you closer.

"Did anyone else get invited to Shawn's party?" Dinah asked, sitting down at the lunch table.
"I did," Camila said, the whole table nodding in agreement.
"Are you guys going?" Troy asked.
"I am," Lauren answered, and you looked at her.
"If Lauren is going, then I'm going," you stated, shrugging.

Camila stood by the table with a drink in her hand. It was water, not alcohol. She looked around and spotted Austin. But he was dancing with another girl - Becky.
Camila sighed and looked down at her shoes.
"Hey! What's wrong?" Shawn came up to her.
Camila looked up and smiled at him, "Nothing."
"Oh, well then dance with me?" Shawn hopefully asked. Camila smiled and set her drink down, nodding.

Hailee was seated on the couch when a girl set next to her. Hailee has seen her around school and in some of her classes, but she's never talked to her.
"Hi," the girl spoke, accent thick, "I'm Cara."
Hailee looked at her, and the first thing she noticed was her striking blue eyes.
Hailee smiled, "I'm Hailee."

"I'll be right back, I have to use the bathroom," you whispered in Lauren's ear.
Lauren nodded, "Okay. I'm going to get us some punch," you smiled and pecked her on the cheek.
You walked to the restroom, quickly using it. As you were walking back to Lauren, you saw Amber, being bothered by two guys. She was in a corner, so it's kind of hard for anyone to notice her.
One of the guys held her wrist up against the wall. You set your jaw and walked over there. You threw the guy off of her.
"Leave, before I do something I'll regret," you demanded, your voice hard and cold. The two guys rolled their eyes and left.
You turned toward Amber, "Are you okay?" Amber timidly nodded, "Okay, now what the hell are you doing at a party? Get home before I call your mother."
Amber rolled her eyes at you, "You can't tell me what to do."
"Yes, I can," you said, "I'm your sister - now leave," you froze. Did you really just admit that to her?
Amber had a small smile on her face at the sound of that.
"Okay," she grinned, walking out of the house.
You sighed in frustration, walking back over to Lauren.
