*So, as of 3.31.14. I have 1K reads, but the problem is that people don't continue reading. I would gladly appreciate if you, the reader, would give this book a chance and continue reading and vote, thank you!*
(Mikey's P.O.V.)
I don't think I've ever been so confused. Mikey Duncan being confused? Never. Mikey Duncan not knowing? Never. Up until now.
"Back to school in a week," Eli sighs.
Eli was one of my best friends who dated one of my very long term best friends, Nick.
"Yeah, I really don't want to go," I whisper.
We sat in Central Park as cold wind began to blow. Fall was finally coming. I didn't like the summer. Too much heat.
"So where's Nick again?" I sigh, taking a swig of water.
"With Dad, he wanted to take him to his Mom's grave," Eli murmurs.
I look over at him. His family had been getting along a lot better now. Equality was a needed factor in that family, and communication.
"Where's Andy?" he laughs, his red lips stretching into a wide smile.
"He's asleep as always," I sigh.
Andy and I had gotten to become closer again because now that Nick and Eli were together, well we had to find other people to hang with.
"You guys are always sleep," he laughs, shaking his head.
Eli's brown curls shook with him. I had to say Eli was good looking. Too good looking not to notice.
"Yeah, we stay up late."
"Doing what?" he wags his eyebrows.
"Black Ops," I smile, not looking at him.
I watch as a girl with nice hips walks by. Ah, women. So beautiful.
"What happened to that girl you were dating?" he asks.
"She was a hassle," I sigh.
I feel a leaf fall into my hair and I shake my head. Letting it fall from my shaggy hair.
"You really need to cut that," Eli laughs.
"I will."
"You said that last year."
"It's the same year."
"You know what I mean, Junior year," he sighs.
"Now it's about to be senior year..." I whisper.
The winds whips the leaves up in a whirl.
"What shit is going to go down this year," he answers.
"Who knows..." I laugh.
Yeah, who knows? Between being fucked up in the head over a boy and the looming fear of college, anything could happen.
*I promise it gets better.*
Mikey is also in my other book, but this is his own story, so there is no need to read the other one if it is not wanted. But it would be nice! Keep on reading!
