(Mikey's P.O.V.)

"Sometimes I'm scared of my heart; of its constant hunger for whatever it is it wants. The way it stops and starts."

"Dude, enough with the quotes," Andy says.

"Bet you don't know who's quote it is even though I've said it about 20 times in front of you," I say.

I look over and to see his eyes illuminated by the moon, staring back at me.

"Let's just do the drop," he sighs, shaking his head, the hair that's left on top of his head falling from it's position.

I watch him walk ahead of me.

"You never pay attention to me," I whisper to no one but the wind.

I go after him. It's been 2 weeks. My body aches and hurts more than usual. We've done 13 drops, this one will be the 14th. It's Friday, twelve in the morning.

"We can go to the party after this," he nods.

I agree and turn as I see Issac come into the alley.

"Issac? What the hell?" I hiss.

He looks fucked up, one eye black and blue and his lip puffy.

"Issac, what happened?" Andy breathes.

"I just need the drugs," he grumbles, pulling out a wad of bills.

"B-but, this is coke, Issac," I whisper.

"Dad is addicted..." he murmurs, ashamed.

No one wonder we didn't know. This isn't our usual drop. Some other kid was suppose to do this one.

"Oh," I say, throwing him the the whole brick.

"I don't usually buy him a whole kilo, but he says this is the last time, I don't believe him," Issac sighs, handing me a couple thousand.

"What are you going to do? Why didn't you tell us? You know you could stay with one of us," I sigh.

"My Mom found another apartment, she's moving us all out, cleaning his whole account out too, and once I graduate I'm taking over the company," he shrugs.

"Wasn't your friend suppose hold that down while you go through college," I ask.

"What can I say? Fucking rich kids with fake friends," he laughs.

"Well, are you coming to the party?"

"Yeah, when I drop this off to my Dad, I'm heading over," he smiles.

"Cool, be careful," I say.

"You two, too," he nods, walking away.

"That's--suprising," Andy breathes.

"I guess," I shrug.

"Well let's get to Nick's," he sighs.

I walk with him. Watching the way he bumps our shoulders together every so often.

---

"Fucking finally!" Eli yells when he throws open the door.

His whole apartment was filled with people. Music made the floor shake and apparently all the girls too.

"Where's Nick!" I yell at him over the music.

"I dunno, probably playing beer pong! " he yells back.
