*So? Well here's the second chapter guys! Remember feedback. I also like to follow my readers, if there are any. So follow me.*
PLEASE READ: Well I was thinking of a way to get an image of the main characters into the readers heads and I thought the boy on the cover of my book would be Andy. The next day I found out just who the boy on the cover was. Ash Stymest is his name and he's so beautiful and well if you want to know how I pretty much see Andy as, just look up Ash Stymest. He's amazing. His body type is a bit different then what I thought Andy's to be and his accent and eyes are of course different. If more details are needed just say so. And I realized Cole Mohr, another boy on my cover looks a bit like Mikey. I did not intend to base their looks off of these boys, I guess when I first found the picture that's how I ended up envisioning them. Sorry for the rant! *
(Mikey's P.O.V.)
Summer had gone in a very fast blur of parties and drinking, even a couple girls. But, as I got up for the first day of senior year, I knew that wouldn't matter as soon as I stepped foot in that damned school.
My whole house was silent as I went to get breakfast as soon as I was done. I know I shouldn't be up, the sun is just rising above New York City, but I can't sleep.
"What're you doing up?" Dad asks groggily from the doorway of the kitchen.
"Getting ready for school?"
"You need to sleep."
"I did," I lie.
He nods, still standing there. When I become uncomfortable I go into my room and wait for seven to come. But of course there's an interruption.
"What?" I grumble, mouth full of cereal.
"I was going to ask if you did the math homework?" Nick grumbles back into the phone.
"Yeah, you really need to do your own shit," I slur back.
I hear a groan that sounds like Eli.
"Are you two in bed together?" I ask, cringing at the thought of what they might be doing.
"Yes, look I'll see you at school, bring that homework! " he yells and hangs up.
Nick needed to start doing his damn homework.
♧♧♧
"Hey."
"Hey," I answer.
It was awkward between heand I at first last year. We started talking at Nick's party. Really talking like we used to.
"Couldn't sleep?" Andy sighs.
I look over at him. His dark brown, almost black, hair growing out a bit, the dark strands falling a bit onto his face from where he's placed it, not like mine though, and his face model sharp.
"Yeah, of course not."
We sit in the New York silence. Which isn't silent at all, but it's good enough. I see him take out a cigarette, putting it to his mouth.
"You smoke?"
"Yeah, now I do, this shit is getting to be too much, Mikey," he rasps.
The shit that kept us out late at night, fearing what could be done to us in the city that late.
"I know, but we can't stop, Andy, you know that."
"Yeah, I know. This won't look good on our college applications," he jokes.
I smile slightly. I can tell he's only trying to change the subject, so I have no reason to find it funny. We sit there till the rest of our friends come.
