Nick's POV

"God, why do you have to be such a bitch all the time?!"

Miley gasped dramatically at what I just said, she started at me completely outraged "Fuck you!" She said and shoved me "We leave right now, or I break up with you." She threatened.

I froze instantly when I heard her say that, I knew I couldn't disobey her and she knew she's got me. She backed away and smiled. "I'm going to go to the bathroom and when I come out you better be ready with the car," She said before turning on her heel and walking into the direction of the restroom, I let out a frustrated sigh under my breath.

I decided to say goodbye to Demi before we left, I was planning on telling her some bull like 'Miley's sick, she wants to go home,' or 'her distant relative died, we have to go now.'—anything that makes sense the most. When Demi spotted me approaching her she immediately went over to me and abandoning the people she was talking to.

"Dem," I begin apologetically.

"I have to introduce you to someone," She said interrupting me with an excited smile.

"That sounds good, b—"

"I know it is! Come here!" She interrupted me again before I could say 'but' and was now dragging me towards a table where two girls were sitting, when they noticed me their faces lit up like light bulbs. "Nick, these are Amanda and Sheila." Demi announced proudly, shoving me forward.

Amanda and Sheila—I don't know which is which—smiled and flirtingly wiggled their fingers at me. "Hi," I said nervously and turned to Demi "What exactly is this?" I whispered to her.

"Nothing, I just want you to meet my friends." She replied.

"What friends? I've never seen you with them before." I said, Demi looked at me not amused.

"Nick, they're pretty, they're cute—"

"Hold on, are you trying to set me up?" I asked in disbelief and widened my eyes at her, Demi shrugged and smiled innocently "No," She said in a duh tone "I just want you to meet these nice, classy, totally friendly and—"

"I have a girlfriend." I hissed at her and her expressions hardened "You can't be serious."

"Duh, I know you have a girlfriend, but being the amazing friend that I am I generously introduced you to much better options." She explained.

"Demi!" I hissed impatiently "What the fuck?!" Was all I could say to protest.

She only shrugged again and then forced me to turn around and sat me down on an empty chair right beside one of the girls. "Look, just try to be nice and like...talk to them." She whispered to me, I turned to her again "Demi, I—"

"Hush," She hissed at me and fixed a smile "Just talk to them, it won't hurt."

I was about to stand up and leave but Demi gave me a deadly look before she scurried away, leaving me with the two girls—Amanda and Sheila—who were now silently giggling to each other. I smiled awkwardly because I didn't want to be rude, the one next to me—I'm guessing it's Amanda—inched really close making our arms touch. I felt really uncomfortable at first but after two seconds the three of us got into a nice conversation, at first it was boring but I tried to not be rude and continue to say something so the conversation wouldn't run out.

At around the 40th second, Sheila was talking to me really flirty. They're actually good looking, they're just nice pretty girls but they're not very interesting, they're just plain Jane's to me but somehow every time they hit on me I didn't feel so uncomfortable and I would say something back. It became a casual hitting thing; I was getting into the moment but had to remind myself to slow down.
