Madison's pov:

It was 10pm and it was time to close the Starbucks.I was cleaning the last table and Ian was counting today's income.When I was done,I walked into the locker rooms for the employees and changed my work shirt to a sweater.I wore my leather jacket that I bought today and it had that smell of a new clothing item right from the store.I loved it.Ian came in while I was taking my bag and changed his shirt too.
"You've been really quiet today.Is anything wrong?" He asked me and caught my attention when I was ready to leave.
"Huh?No I just have a lot in mind" I said
"Are you sure?" He asked
"Yeah don't worry" I said
"I know it's pretty late and you are kind of tired,but do you want to go for coffee or for a drink?" He asked

"Well coffee would be a bad idea cause we work in a place that makes coffee so" I said
"Then drink it is" He said and we closed the shop.We were both walking home because we didn't have a car so we walked down the busy streets of Los Angeles.The city was glowing and it was alive at night.Teens,people at our age and older ones,were all out enjoying a winter Saturday night.
"So do you have any new years resolutions?" Ian said
"No not really.Just want to finish with school,have fun as long as I am here and then get back to England" I said
"Same goes for me.I don't really have anything.Just get to make experiences as I finish my senior year and maybe get a girlfriend.I don't know I haven't been able to date anyone since I left home two years ago" He said

"You'll find the best" I said
"Any changes you want for 2016?" He said
"I actually want to do some changes before 2016" I said
"Like?" He asked
"I'd love to get a nose piercing and a couple tattoos,as crazy as it sounds.I just want to show me for once.I always wanted to get a tattoo" I said
"That's a great idea!I have one myself" He admitted
"A tattoo?" I asked.
"Yeah.On my back" He said
"Did it hurt?" I asked.
"Not at all" He said.
"Could you give me a card or an adress for the place you went to get it?" I asked.
"We could go now it's not far away from here" He said
"Like right now.Seriously?" I asked
"Yeah seriously.Come on I'll hold your hand if you're scared" He winked

"I'm not scared you idiot" I said and we laughed.
"Here it is" He said and pointed at one shop on the other street.When we stepped inside,the place was sick.Thr lights it had and the music was awesome,it had a great vibe to it.
"Hey Ian what's up man?" A mascular guy a couple of years older than us did a bro hug with Ian.
"Good good.How's the place going?The renevation made it look awesome" Ian said
"Yeah.It was worth it" The man said
"Let me introduce you.Madison this is Jake,Jake this is my friend Madison" Ian introduced us
"Hey nice to meet you" I smiled and shook hands with Jake.
"Nice to meet you too.So what are we doing today?Decided to do a new tattoo?" Jake asked Ian

"Now it's actually for Madison here.She wants to do a tattoo for new year's" Ian said
"Nicee.So you know what you want?Have you thought of it?" Jake asked me
"I have no idea" I said
"Okay we can work on that.Come to the office guys" Jake said and we followed him to his office I suppose.Well this is a fancy tattoo place.
"You can sit here if you want" He said and pointed at two chairs.We sat down and he took out of a drawer,a tattoo sketch book.
"So lets look at some options" He said and opened the book.
"Do you want something basic,something small,big,coloured?" he asked me
"Well I think something basic as a start" I said
"Okay.These are some of the basics designs a lot of people request" He showed me sketches of hearts,doodles,and flowers.

"Have you thought of where you actually want to have it?" He asked.
"Yeah.Here in my hand" I showed him the part I wanted to do the tattoo.
"Got it.Hmm lets see" He said and searched through pages and pages.
"Here we are.From what I see of you,I think this would be the one for a start" He said and showed me a bird tattoo.
"I love it.Reminds me of the one Demi Lovato has" I said
"Yeah that's another reason I picked it.You kind of look that you have the same personality.Fierce" Jake said
"I'm flattered thanks" I said
"So are we doing it?" He asked
"Lets do it" I said and we stood uo to go the room I was going to do the tattoo.
"Do you want me to hold your hand?" Ian asked
"I'm gonna be fine.You are either worried or trying to find an excuse to hold my hand" I said and he laughed
