I shoved the last Nike duffel bag that I owned into the back of my Tahoe and shut the lift gate.
all the boys were outside by my car. my mom and Taylor's mom and dad were outside too.
I hugged each and every one of them and then went to the drivers seat and waited for the first person to come and give me their goodbye presents. it's a tradition that my family does when someone goes to college.
the first one that came was Jesse, Taylor's oldest brother.
"be safe ok? don't go too fast on the way over there and once you get there, I better be the first one that you call." he said.
I laughed and nodded. "you know I'm not mad at you for going to UGA right? that's just Taylor and chase." he said as he ran his fingers through his hair.
I nodded and he handed me a gift card to Barnes and noble. he then handed me a 200 dollar visa gift card.
"ones for your books and the other is to get your groceries. don't shop at whole foods all the time. I know how you are." he said as he walked away.
"thanks jes!" I said.
I saw Sam come around the corner and he just broke down.
I got out of the car and hugged him. "I won't be able to watch you." he said between sobs.
"aww Sammy I know. it's ok. I'll call you everyday and tell you everything. I promise. I'll set an alarm right now. look." I said as I set the alarm.
he nodded and then gave me a tight hug. "love you wes. call me as soon as you get there." he said.
I nodded and then went back in my car.
"wesley!" I heard hunter scream.
he was our crazy one other than chase.
"hunter!" I said back doing our handshake.
"here sis." he said as he handed me a 400 dollar gift card to Bed Bath & Beyond.
"obviously mom paid for half of this." I said laughing.
"you know me so well." he said laughing with me. he pulled me in for a hug and then pulled away.
"call me when you get there." he said walking away.
"thanks huntee." I said as he walked away.
the rest of the good-byes went fine. Taylor was the only one that didn't tell me goodbye.
he was packing his car to leave for GSU.
I pulled out my driveway and left.
I could feel his eyes on me but didn't turn to look at him.
*AT THE DORM OFFICE- SHOPPING FOR DORMS*
"someone just signed to move into the one next door but since this is a corner room, this room is all to yourself. this is the last one left on campus." the lady said.
it had granite counter tops, wood floors, two bedrooms, and everything that I wanted in a dorm. it was just like my house but in apartment form.
"I'll take it." I told her confidently.
"ok just sign right here and you can start moving in whenever you want." she said as I signed the paper.
"yes ma'am. just send the bill to this address ok?" I said as I wrote down my moms address.
she nodded and walked out of the dorm.
I walked out and locked the door.
I walked downstairs and then went to my Tahoe.
I went to the furniture store and picked out a sectional, three stools for the bar/counter, two beds for the bedrooms, four televisions for the living room, the balcony, and the two bedrooms. I picked out a small dining table and wall decorations. I picked out a bunch of chest of drawers,
toilets, a washer and dryer, a sinks, a stove, and a few other things.
it was all delivered to my house and I told them where to put it.
when I went to go grocery shopping, Taylor walked out of the room right next to mine.
