"wake up you lazy ass!" chase screamed at me.
"calm your tits bro. can't a girl sleep late for once?" I said as I laughed.
"it's two in the afternoon!" he said pulling me out of bed.
"oh." I said with a grin on my face.
"haven't seen that face in a while." Taylor said while walking in my room.
"toss me that shirt." I said to him.
"why? we're going run. wanna come?" he asked as he looked at my attire.
"yeah. let me change and I'll be right down." I told him as I stood up and went to my closet.
"you know we need to throw a party this year. it's against the rules not to." he said as he walked into my closet with me.
"and it's against the laws to be too loud too." I told him as I put on a PINK tank top. I grabbed a pair of Nike shorts and pulled those on over my spandex. I slipped on my Nike frees and then did my hair in a high ponytail.
"well it's a right of passage." he said trying to get me to give in.
"whatever. lets go fat ass. bet you can't win today after those Scooby snacks." I said taking one out of his hand.
*AFTER RUNNING*
"don't. Taylor stop it. no. do not. stop it! don't make me call your mom. don't do it." I screamed at Taylor as he was about to flip my chair.
he started tickling me instead.
I laughed so hard I think I peed my pants.
Sam walked in the living room and shot me a glance.
I gave him the same one back and then it got awkward. I checked my phone and it was 2:45.
I grabbed my keys and texted my coach that I was leaving.
when I got to the gym, the football team was there. they were up in the stands listening to their coach go on and on about how to build muscle, how to get lean and all that stuff.
my coach and I grabbed a ball and started our practice.
when I started digs, after every one, I looked back at Taylor to see if he was watching. every time I would look, he would turn and act like he was listening to coach marks.
I laughed to myself and then went back to practice.
*AFTER PRACTICE- AT HOME*
i was outside bumping the volleyball when taylor came across into the yard and started a game with me.
"nice digs earlier." he said about fifteen minutes into the game.
"thanks." i told him back.
"i gotta go to church tonight. we can keep going tomorrow maybe." i told him as i caught the ball about forty-five minutes later.
he shrugged amd walked up to me and said "see you at church." he said before giving me a wink and then jogging across the street.
i went inside and ran upstairs to take a shower.
i walked into my closet with a towel on top of my head and my bra and panties on.
i pulled some dark ripped denim jeans on with a plain white razorback tanktop.
i slipped on my black vans with my outfit and then went and dried my hair. i curled in and then put on my normal amount of makeup. (a little bit of foundation, blush, mascara, & lip gloss)
i walked downstairs and every single one of the boys were standing my the door waiting for me. all of them, even my own brothers checked me out.
"what the fuck happened to you?" sam said bluntly.
"SAMUEL WEST PEYTON!" i screamed as i slapped him.
"its ok wes. i promise i won't say it at school. both meanings." he said innocently.
"what is he talking about?" i asked them all.
"you know..." they all said at the same time.
"i do know but what reason does he have to know." i asked the sharply.
"you took too long and he saw one of my conersations with hailey on my phone and he wanted to know so we gave him his birds and bees speech." sam said.
"before church? really?" i asked him as we all walked outside.
all of my boys piled into my tahoe and then all of the davis family (taylor's family) got into taylor's truck.
*AFTER CHURCH-AT HOME*
i was cooking dinner when taylor walked in.
"can you hand me a fork please?" i asked him.
he handed me a fork and i started to cut open the steak to see if it was ready. "so university of georgia?" he said awkwardly.
"listen, i know none of you were happy about that. about how i picked a different college then all of you. but it's my time to actually experience the world. actually experience life. living in this small town where nine boys protected me from any guy they thought would hurt me, that's not real life. i want a chance to be on my own. i want a chance to have my own life with no one else fucking with it. so don't sit here and be all pissed because i chose a differnent college than you, chase, and all the other ones. don't be like that because it just makes you look like a larger-than-life douchebag." i told him.
he ran his fingers through his wavy, blonde hair. "too bad you don't know half of it." he said before he walked out of the kitchen.
