I slipped on my dress, shoes and tied my hair back. "Here take my sunglasses, hopefully if there's anyone outside they won't notice you", "thanks" I took them from him but didn't put them on yet. "I've rung for a car it should be waiting out front and will take you back to your hotel". I nodded not wanting our time to end, but I had to leave, he kept talking "so ring me when you get home, make sure you put my name in your contacts, I don't like to be called unknown" he said frowning, I laughed and nodded, "I will". His arms were around me again pulling me close, "I think I miss you already" he said laughingly, he took hold of my cheeks pulling me in close and kissed me softly, slowly, his tongue gently meeting mine. I finally had to pull away, "stop or I'll never leave and I've really got to go" i said. He walked me to the door, I told him not to come down with me, no need to make anymore headlines, guessed the studio wouldn't appreciate any lurid hotel gossip. 'Bye' I said softly and he finally let go of my hand. I walked out heading quickly to the elevator, put on the glasses and then made my way out to the waiting car, there were a few reporters but they didn't even notice me, I breathed a sigh of relief as we drove off. Once safely back in my hotel room, I checked my phone five missed calls from Lucy and some texts ~ where are you? ~ I'm guessing being loved up by your new friend? ~ call me when you get this. I didn't call I couldn't face that conversation, I quickly typed off a text to shut her up ~ off to the airport talk when I get back. I quickly changed, packed up what little stuff I had brought with me and down I went into another waiting car that took me to the airport. I was glad I had avoided any reporters, I guessed no one knew where I had gone after I left the show, and I wasn't famous enough to bother following me around. That suited me just fine. My mind ran over the night while I was on the plane. I had never expected to see him again so soon, let alone the rest of the night. I couldn't wipe the grin off my face. Finally home, I got onto the business of getting ready for my time away shooting. I met some friends for dinner the night before I was due to leave, they were all hounding me for gossip about what had happened, but I was insisting nothing was going on. They didn't believe me though. I was heading up to the middle of nowhere, which meant all old castles and manor houses. I had spoken to Jared briefly when I got home, he was now unreachable as he made his way home. He finally texted me ~ home I'm exhausted when do you leave? I typed back quickly ~ glad you're home safe I'm heading off this afternoon shooting starts tomorrow ~ good luck keep in touch x I sent him back an x and put my phone down. It rang a minute later it was Lucy, "ready?" She said cheerfully, she had not mentioned or asked me what had happened in Paris, my body language when we'd met made it clear that it was my secret and I wasn't sharing it with anyone. "As I'll ever be" I sighed, she snapped "well I thought you'd be a bit more excited about it, this is what you've been waiting for right?" she was obviously annoyed at my apparent lack of enthusiasm. "No no don't get me wrong, I'm so happy about it all, I've just got a lot on my mind at the moment" she didn't answer for the longest time then spoke. "Look I don't know what's going on, and I know you don't want to talk about Paris, but this is your break, don't fuck it up" , "of course not! Don't be ridiculous this means everything to me!" I almost shouted at her. But in truth I couldn't get my mind off Jared and our time together. The doorbell rang, my car had arrived, "the car's here got to dash, I'll keep in touch" I said, happy to get off the phone and I hit end. I got into the waiting car and settled in for the two hour drive, I had downloaded all of their music so I put my headphones in and his beautiful voice flooded my brain. It was late when we finally arrived, and it was cold, I was met by one of the producers and her assistant and they showed me around and to where the cast and crew were set up. I would have my own assistant but she was arriving tomorrow. My room was spacious and comfortable, stone walls, old, but it was beautiful. I had a light dinner and unpacked my stuff since I'd be here a while. My phone started ringing, I grabbed it, it was Jared, "hi" he said warmly, his voice like honey. I smiled and sat on the bed, "hi, how are you?" I said. "Tired, busy, usual, you? Are you at your big ol' castle yet?" He asked. "Yes, got here not long ago, it's freezing and I'm tired too" I sighed. "Hmmm, wish I was there, I'd warm you up" he said laughing. I grinned, "I bet you'd do more than just warm me up" I snickered, there was a pause and then he spoke again. "Hey, I think I miss you" he said lightly. "I think I miss you too.." I whispered. He sighed, almost as though he had been holding his breath waiting for my response. "Well I better go, it's late and I've got an early start" I said in a disappointed voice. "Oh sure, fucking time difference, okay, well text me when you can" he said casually. "Of course" I assured him. We were like teenagers waiting to see who would hang up first, finally I said softly, "goodnight Jay" and I hit end.
