We lay quietly, his arm holding me against his body, he loved this position. He softly kissed my shoulder over and over, where the little welts had appeared. The sky had become dark and I could hear the distant rumbling of thunder. "Will you come?" he asked, "I already did, but I'm happy to do it again" I gave him a sexy smile, he grinned but I knew what he meant and he was waiting for a reply. "Look" I started to say, he stopped me, "I know what you're thinking, what if you come and then no one likes you and I'll regret inviting you, right? Well I like you, very much, so that won't change, please say yes". I took a deep breath, "If nothing comes up, with work, I will try and come, really I will" I heard him sigh. I turned to face him, "Please understand, I don't want to be in a situation where I feel uncomfortable and not be able to leave" I finally said what I was feeling. "Why would you want to leave?" was all he said, I looked up at the ceiling, "I don't want to come and you feel like you have to entertain me, and neglect your family, then they'll resent me.." He interrupted me, "I wouldn't have asked you if I thought that, if you're miserable I won't force you to stay" I didn't want to continue the topic, I moved closer and kissed him, he said against my lips, "Good, make sure you bring me something nice" I pulled his hair gently and growled. We had dozed off, but were rudely awoken by the hammering of rain on the windows and thunder shaking the house. "Geeze, do you ever have nice weather?" grumbled Jared, the room was suddenly lit up by a flash of lightning, I could see his piercing blue eyes looking towards the window. "I love thunder and lightening, it's beautiful and comforting". The lightening flashed again, his eyes travelled from my face down to my breasts, I flushed under his gaze, and in a purely instinctive movement, I tried to pull up the sheet. He held it down, shaking his head, "don't, I want to look at you, every inch, so I can remember every part of you when I leave" my breath hitched in my throat at his sweetness, I lay back down, putting my arm around his neck. I kissed his shoulder. He ran his fingers slowly up and down my back, I closed my eyes enjoying the feel of him against my skin. The thunder continued to rumble outside. His fingers ran lightly over my shoulder, he looked at the mark he had left. His eyes grew dark and I could feel him becoming hard against my thigh. He leaned his head down to my lips and gave it a light soft bite, "sometimes I can be a bit too rough, if you don't like it... " he murmured in my ear, he pulled back to see my reaction. "I like it, I've never....you know, keep doing it" I whispered, his face broke into a grin dazzling me, God he was gorgeous. I could hear my phone ringing from downstairs, it had rung earlier but I ignored it. "Someone obviously wants to talk to you, it's been ringing for ages" he said, I nodded sighing, I didn't want to ever leave this bed. "I know I know, I don't want to talk to anyone" I sat up looking for my clothes, he got up as well, grabbing his clothes, "I'm hungry, let's eat and you can answer whoever the fuck keeps ringing" he said and we went downstairs. It was Lucy, of course, telling me that a car would be picking me up at 8.30am on Tuesday, she said, "Did he find you? sorry I had to give it to him, he was threatening all sorts of things" I raised my eyebrows looking at him, "really like what?" I asked her, "oh you know these bloody Americans, threatening to go to the press etc etc" she huffed. "It's fine Lucy, don't worry, I'll talk to you before I leave" I hung up. I turned to stare at him, "what's up?" he said looking at me curiously, I crossed my arms over my chest, "what exactly were you planning to tell the press about me?" I said putting him on the spot, a slow smile crept onto his face, "she told you did she? I was bluffing, I'd never do that, she was being a cagey bitch and I knew she would cave at that" I shook my head, he just laughed. I made tea and sat down watching him pick at things with his long fingers, popping bits of this and that into his mouth. "Are you going to eat?" he asked, I had just had a slice of toast, "I just ate toast" I said, he frowned "I mean other than toast, that's all you eat, tea and toast" I shook my head, "I haven't really felt like eating since.." I faltered "well since I was, unwell" I managed to say. He nodded, I looked away and got up to put my cup into the sink, I looked out the window, it was still pouring rain. I was about to turn, but he had come up from behind wrapping his arms around me. "Would you have told me, would you have kept it?" He asked me softly, he was holding his breath waiting for me to answer. I realized he had wanted to ask this question since he found out. "I honestly don't know, but I would have told you, yes, I could never keep that a secret" I answered and I heard him exhale softly and felt him nodding. I leaned back onto his shoulder and we stood there looking out at the rain.
