The next day, they all were up and ready for the day ahead of them. The horses were all tacked up and ready for the journey ahead. Susan, Lucy, Edmund, and Peter were on their horses ready to head out on their ride. Caspian put out the fire, by pouring a cup of water on the flames. He then walked over to his horse and hopped on.

Lucy led the way while her siblings and Caspian rode behind her. They came to the end of the fields and to the beginning of a forest. They slowed their horses down to a trot, to enter the forest. They walked their horses through the forest path, so they wouldn't hurt the horse's feet by breaking their ankles.

They rode in a single file line through the forest. As they rode, they could hear the trees whispering to one another. Their branches flowed back and forth as the wind blew.

Susan and Caspian rode at the back of the pack, side by side. They remained quiet for a little bit and then began to talk, so they could avoid boredom.

"How long is this going to take?" Caspian asked.

"Until Aslan meets up with us, I guess," Susan answered.

"How long will that be?" Caspian complained.

Susan gave a little laugh at Caspian.

"You don't have much patience, do you?" Susan responded with a smile.

"How could you tell?" Caspian chuckled.

Susan laughed at Caspian. Before she could reply, they were interrupted. Lucy had stopped, causing everyone else to stop behind her. Susan and Caspian looked ahead, they were wondering what was going on.

"What is it?" Caspian whispered.

"I don't know," Peter replied. "Lucy?"

Lucy did not answer her brother. She hopped off her horse without a word, she started walking off the path. Her siblings and Caspian chased after her. They were walking off the path, going between trees. They didn't know what Lucy had seen, or thought she saw, but they followed her anyway.

"Where do you think she is going?" Caspian asked as he came to Susan's side.

"Where else would Lucy go?"

"She would go to Aslan," Caspian mumbled.

"Exactly."

The walk was long, but they finally stopped. Lucy had a smile on her face. Peter and Edmund were relieved to see what was in front of them, and Susan was happy to see another familiar face. They were all so happy to see him again.
