A majority of the army had returned home, but for those who lost their homes, rode back with Peter, Caspian, Edmund, Lucy, and Susan. They were riding back to the crumbled castle of the Kings and Queens of Narnia. It was a long ride, but they stopped here and there for rest. Caspian and Susan rode on the same horse, with Caspian in the front and Susan in the back. Peter and Edmund led the rest of the army, at the front with Aslan. Lucy stayed back in the middle. She was talking to many of the soldiers because she was pretty bored.

Susan was taking a little nap, as they were heading back. She rested her head on Caspian's back, while he steered the horse. Caspian didn't mind it. He actually was happy that Susan was getting some sleep.

Peter looked back at Susan and Caspian. He knew that Caspian and he were not on good terms, so he was hoping to change that. He turned his horse around and trotted up to Caspian. Peter saw that Susan was asleep, so he tried to be as quiet as possible.

"What do you want, Peter?" Caspian asked.

"I just wanted to say that I was sorry. I know that I was hard on you, but it was only because Susan, Edmund, and Lucy are my only family here," Peter explained.

"I get it, Peter,"

"I'm truly sorry, Caspian. Forgive me," Peter begged.

"Don't worry Peter, I already have," Caspian admitted.

Peter nodded his head and gave his horse a kick on the side. He rode back up to the front of the army, where Edmund was waiting for him.

A couple of minutes later, Susan lifted her head up from resting on Caspian's back. She blinked her eyes a couple of times and stretched her arms out at the side. She took a deep breath. She then wrapped her arms around Caspian.

"Good afternoon." Caspian greeted.

"Huh," Susan started. "Was I out long?"

"Probably for a couple of hours, but nothing more," Caspian assured.

"Oh good, I need to catch up on some sleep." Susan chuckled.

Susan gave Caspian a kiss on the right cheek. Caspian couldn't hide his smile, so he turned his head forward, so Susan wouldn't see him smile. He turned his attention back to the journey back to the crumbled castle.
