It was the day before the battle, and everyone was making and grabbing weapons. Soldiers were already dressed in armor. They had weapons strapped to themselves in holsters. They were finishing up the last of their weapons before they would pack up, and start riding to the battlefield. It was a long journey to the battle lands. They were supposed to meet the White Witch on the battlefield, the day after the full moon.
Peter, Edmund, and Lucy were on their horses, watching everyone prepare to head out. They were all dressed in armor. Peter had his sword attached to the left side of his waist, and he had another sword strapped to the side of his horse. Edmund had two swords on each side of his waist. While Lucy had a crossbow strapped to her horse, and the little knife that Santa gave her.
Susan and Caspian were tacking their horses up still, making sure they had everything. Susan was wearing a dress with armor covering it, for the top layer. She had her bow and arrows on her back, while she had a sword hanging around her waist. Her hair was done into a loose fishtail braid to the side. Caspian was dressed in his silver armor, with his sword in his holster.
Caspian gave Susan a lift up on her horse and then mounted his own horse. They rode their horses over to Peter, Edmund, and Lucy who were waiting for them.
"Is everything set?" Peter asked.
"Yes," Caspian responded. "Weapons have been made and the soldiers are ready for battle, along with Aslan."
"Very well, let's head out," Peter said.
"Move out," Edmund ordered.
The soldiers started to move out. They followed Peter, Edmund, Susan, Lucy, and Caspian away from what used to be their camp. Peter and Edmund were in the front, with Aslan and Lucy behind them. Then Caspian and Susan. They were riding together so they could spend as much time with each other before the battle would begin.
Susan was pretty calm and ready for this battle, but Caspian seemed uneasy.
"Caspian, is everything okay?" Susan asked as she reached for his hand.
"Yes, just a little unprepared for this," Caspian replied.
"Don't worry so much," Susan advised. "What is meant to happen will happen."
Caspian met Susan halfway. He leaned closer to Susan, who did the same and gave her a kiss on the lips.
Sorry for the short chapter.
