I groaned as I woke up, a bright light blinding me. "Oh god I'm dead." I mumbled half serious- half awake.
"Not dead, but close to it." A voice said from behind the blinding light.
I couldn't move. Either I was paralyzed, or strapped to something but I felt so heavy and numb it took everything in my power to keep my eyes open.
"Don't strain you'll mess it up." The voice said again. I started to panic.
"Mess what up? Who are you?" I asked.
Suddenly I heard a howl.
"SCOTT!" I yelled weakly.
"Everything's fine." The voice said.
"Yes because people scream like that when everything's fine. And what's with the straps?" I asked angrily, I felt the leather binds across several areas along my body.
The more I woke up the more I became aware of my surroundings. Still couldn't see much because of the light but as I looked down I saw hundreds of needles poking out of my bare skin. It's was at that moment I let out my very first blood curdling howl. Or more of an extremely loud, vibrating, scream.

I woke up again, this time there was no light, just a dark room. I heard a steady beating and I looked over to see a heart monitor. The pain hit me in waves. My chest was tight, it felt like I was being crushed with each breath. My head pounded in tune with the heart monitor. I let out a slow groan. My groans turned into whines and whines turned into childish crying. Shit, I was bawling. I had never been in this much pain in my life. I was no longer strapped in but every time I moved my pain got 10 times worse. My cries made my body shudder causing more pain. I'm not sure when I passed out, but eventually the pain overtook me.

Barry's Pov:
I watched the footage from last night, she was crying, occasionally thrashing, and howling in pain. I finally shut it off, not able to watch any more.
I walked over to the beds where she lay unconscious. We couldn't ID her, she wasn't in the system. And Cisco was still in the process of nicknaming her. So for now we caller her 'patient'.
Her other friends were some type of metahuman, one we'd never encountered. We couldn't get near them long enough to run tests and tranquilizing them only made them more angry when they woke up (which was usually around 3 minutes later).
I found myself in front of the older one's containment cell. He pounded his fist against the glass.
"Where is she." He growled out, almost like a dog, or wolf.
"She's safe." I told him.
"I need to see her. You don't know how to treat her. She's gonna die!" He yelled.
I shook my head, "Dr. Snow and Dr. Raymond are two of the very best, they'll take good care of her.
His fist hit the glass again, "When I get out of here, I'm gonna kill you."
I sighed heavily and visited the other one. He was curled up in the corner watching me. He didn't say a word. But his eyes were red.
Solid red.
"Barry she's waking up!" Caitlyn yelled as she rushed in.
I followed her into the operating room. The girl was howling again.
"I don't understand. Her tests all come back clear, she's human, but she has so many of the others traits. It's not adding up." Cisco breathed as he typed something into the computer.
"Maybe when she wakes up we can push for answers. She might let something slip." I suggested, letting out a slow deep breath. Whatever we were dealing with, it's seemed like she would be the key to finding it out.

A/N: Second chapter for tonight 💜 I can't wait to get further into it, comment what you think 💕
