Complicated

Questions

It had been 3 days since my little confrontation with Derek. I was still angry and I'm pretty sure everyone had noticed a slight change in my attitude.
For some reason I could never bring myself to ask Scott if what Derek said was true. Maybe it was because there was never really a good time, or maybe I was afraid of what he'd tell me.

Suddenly I felt hands on my shoulders.
I flinched but relaxed as Barry walked around to face me.
"Derek told me to tell you they were done packing the car." He said with a small smile.
I smiled back.
"Thanks Bar." I told him looking down at my bag and sighing heavily. He wrapped his arms around me tightly.
"I'm actually gonna miss you guys." He said chuckling. I hugged him back.
"I'm gonna miss y'all too." I told him.
"Kelsey lets go!" I heard Scott call. We broke apart at the sound of his voice.
"Call me if you need anything." he told me.
I nodded and picked up my bags.

"I can't believe we had to leave my jeep." Stiles grumbled.
I could practically feel Derek rolling his eyes.
"We're coming back next weekend to get it. Stop being so dramatic." He said annoyed.
Stiles huffed.
I glanced over at Stiles as he looked out the window, pouting.
He had healed up nicely, his bruises were fading and yellow and his once split open skin was now connected with no evidence other than a shrinking red line that would probably end up as a scar.
As we headed farther down the road I let my mind wonder to the question I've been avoiding for a while now. I needed to find the time to ask. Not now of course, I needed to confront Scott privately before calling him out on words that had come from Derek's rage.
