Recovery

At around 4am I heard the door to my room open. I slowly opened my eyes to see Stiles making his way to my bed.
"Stiles what in the hell are you doing?" I asked, rushing over and helping him sit down.
"You aren't fully recovered yet, you should be resting!" I scolded.
"Yeah well it turns out doing nothing all day isn't as fun as it seems." He said wincing in pain.
"They won't even put a TV in there." He complained.
"You're lucky to be alive." I pointed out.
He rolled his eyes.
"It doesn't feel like it." He mumbled.
I stared at him quietly for a moment.
"Scotts room was closer you know." I told him nodding at the doorway.
"I didn't wanna wake him up. It's too early." He replied.
"Oh so you didn't care about waking me up?" I asked crossing my arms.
"Oh please Kelsey. We both know you were awake." He said.
I rolled my eyes.
"Well I'm actually planning on sleeping at some point, so you need to remove yourself from this area." I said using his knee as a footrest.
"You know it took me forever to get over here and it was actually quite painful so-"
"Stiles." I said.
He looked up at me and I smiled.
There was a small pause while he looked at me expectantly.
"God I'm happy you're alive." I said leaning over and hugging him extremely carefully.
"Does this mean you are gonna let me sleep here instead of making me walk all the way back?" He asked folding his arms across mine.
"Absolutely not." I said leaning up.
He huffed.
"Alright but if I  re-break another rib." He said holding his sides.
"Fine." I replied rolling my eyes.
"Drama queen." I mumbled as he struggled to pull himself under the covers.
I rolled over and helped him pull them up and over his shoulders.
"I'm lucky to be alive." he said, mocking what I'd told him earlier.
And with that I rolled to the other side of the bed and fell asleep.

A/N: really short chapter bc I felt like I needed to make Kelsey and Stiles's friendship more prominent bc I tried to make their personalities somewhat similar. Anyway. A New chapter will be up soon 💫
