I was sitting in the living room with my family, I took a seat next to Jasmine. We were just sitting there awkwardly with no one speaking.

"So how are your university studies going ?" My father said probably just to shake the weird silence off.

"Good, good." I answered.

"Are you comfortable there in Washington ? Do you like the house you're staying in ? I've heard that it's quite big, I hope that you don't mind staying there alone." Dad asked.

"All good, all good. I'm not staying in the house alone though." I said.

My father raised me an eyebrow.

"I'm staying there with Ja-"

My phone rang interrupting our conversation.

Jason.

"Hi," I cleared my throat.

"Faye ! Faye did you make it to Washington already ?" He asked.

"Yeah and I'm in my parents' house now." I looked up and noticed that everyone are focusing on me which made me shift in my place and feel uncomfortable.

"Okay, everything is alright ?" He asked again.

"Yeah, yeah."

"Be careful and call me if you need anything."

"I will,"

"I love you." He said sweetly.

"You too," I smiled.

I had lunch with my family and I talked with my sisters, I told them about Jason and showed them picture. They kept on talking about how handsome and hit he is.

Of course he is.

I'm now sitting in the living room with my mother, She said that she needs to talk to me about something.

"There's something that happened lately and I figured out that I should let you know.." she looked hestitated and a bit.. afraid ?

I looked at her expectantly waiting for her to finish what she wants to say.

She let out a deep breath before finally speaking, "Your.. your dad moved to Boyce, and his house is only five minutes drive from our house." She said and my eyes widened. "He has.. two boys. I thought that you might like to meet him and to meet your brothers.."

I stayed silent for a while.

"He doesn't even know that I exist," I reminded her.

She looked away then looked back at me. "Yeah, about that. I payed him a visit and talked to him. He was shocked and angry at the beginning but he's very glad that he had a daughter, since he only has two boys. You know," She said. "He's expecting you to come today, I mean I you want to." She corrected herself.

I thought for a moment of whether I should go or not, a lot of things could change after meeting my real dad. Right ?

"Yeah sure. I'll go." I announced so my mother handed me a sheet of paper with a warm smile.

"You shouldn't go," Jason said on the other line as I stopped the car in front of my dad's house.

"Why though ? It's now or never !" I said and climbed off the car.

"I have a bad feeling about this babe, Do you even ever listen to me !" He shouted.

"There's no need to worry Jason," I tried to calm him down.

"Okay okay Faye ! Okay." He said then hung up the phone.
