Chapter 30

It's been two weeks since Jason and I are dating, things are going on well and it can't get better. I'm very happy that after years and years of being single, I finally found a boyfriend who's actually worth it.

Though I'm quite worried about the death glares I've been receiving lately from girls in my university, and the few usual girls who call me names when they pass me. But, if I had to fight it then I will.

"Faye, come on." Jason has already parked in the university's parking lot and I was still in the car. I stepped out of the car and Jason unlocked it. He immediately held my hand and we started walking towards the front door.

Jason and I became more close by the days, not a lot of things changed though since we already were close and we were living together already. But we started to act like a real couple.

We never admitted our relationship to everyone in university, everyone got it themselves I guess. We were acting like a couple so.

I spotted Ethan making his way to me and I felt Jason shift beside me.
"Faye," He pulled me in a hug and rubbed my back. I hugged him back but I was still holding Jason's hand.

"Ethan, it's been a while. I haven't seen you around lately." I smiled at him.

"Yeah I was out of town for a few days, I had.. Things to take care of in my hometown." He rubbed the back of his neck, I came to a conclusion that that's what men do when they're not uncomfortable about something. I think I'll need to have a discussion with Ethan any time soon. I'm sure there must be a reason behind going to his hometown in the period of exams.

"Jason," Ethan greets Jason with a smirk on his face and Jason simply nods his head.

"So I missed few events huh ?" Ethan says looking down at our now intertwined fingers.

I simply nod my head. "Shall we go Faye ?" Ethan says and Jason frowns.

"We're sharing the same class now so I hope you don't mind me walking with your girlfriend right ?" Ethan looks at Jason waiting for his reply.

"No," he answered after a long creepy silence.
Jason then grabs me and plants his lips on mine for a quick kiss.

I walk alongside with Ethan to our class, "So what was your trip to your hometown about ?" I asked Ethan and watched him dig his hands in his pockets.

"Let's skip that part where I have to convince you to tell me about it and start guessing what's bothering you," I finally spoke after a long silence.

He chuckled then took a quick glance at me and started talking, "I went to my hometown because my father asked me come, he wanted to discuss some.. family things that shocked me really." He rubbed the back of his neck in discomfort.

"Oh I see, it's okay if you're not ready to tell me about it. I understand." I gave him a reassuring smile.

"Yeah, thank you. So you and Jason huh ?" Ethan smiled.

"Yeah," I looked down and felt myself blushing suddenly.

"How did this even happen ?" He frowned in amusement.

"I don't know, it just did."

The bell rang announcing the end of our biology class, I held my books in my hands and stood up to leave the classroom.

I saw an envelop falling from one of my books, I knelt down and picked it up.

I read what was written on top of the envelop.

Okay, what the hell is this.

I opened the envelop and saw what seemed like paper, okay.

THIS CAN'T BE REAL.

I read on the back of the paper.

And that was when I started running looking for Jason, he did this. He got me this. I can't believe it.

"Jennifer !" I called after her as I spotted her walking.
"Have you seen Jason ?" I asked her and looked around, that was when I finally saw him. I ran towards him and threw myself in his hands the moment I reached him.

He caught me and steadied his posture to keep us from falling.

"Thank you thank you thank you thank you," I repeated the words dramatically.

"I guess that means that you receives my present ?" He murmurs in my earlobe. "Do you like it ?"

"Yes ! Of course ! Ed Sheeran fucking concert tickets ! How can I not like such a present !" I exclaimed.

I heard him giggle in amusement. "I'm glad that you like it,"

"Like it ? I love it ! That's the best gift I ever received Jason !"
"But there are two tickets Jason,"

"Yeah you can take whoever you want with you, I thought that you wouldn't like to go alone so." I pulled away from the hug so I can look at him.

"What do you mean ? You're coming with me !" I looked up at him.

"No you can go with Jennifer or-"

"-or you can come with me," I interrupted him.

A smile from ear to ear appeared on his face then he put his hand around my shoulder and pulled me to him, and we started walking in the uni hall with plenty of people staring at us, like we were some aliens who came from Mars or something..
