"Stop," I giggled. Ethan was playing with the notes and closing every book or notebook I opened. He actually seemed interested in the first thirty minutes but then he just got bored I suppose. He was doing everything just to distract me from finishing the assignment.
"Ethan be serious please." I said. "We're about to finish the assignment, we only have few things left. You're not really helping me out to finish everything." I complained.
"Why don't we just take a rest ?" He complained back sounding like a four year old kid.
"We just started !" I exclaimed.
"Yeah, and I'm tired already."
I sighed loudly then looked up at him. "Okay I'll finish the rest of the work then."
"Where's the bathroom ?" He asked.
"Upstairs, third door on your right."
He stood up and headed upstairs, I kept finishing the small work I had left until Ethan got back downstairs and sat next to me.
"Faye ?" He said. I looked up at him and he seemed confused.
"Yeah ?"
"Why do you have a razor and shaving things for guys ? And why there are boxers in your washing machine ?" He asked in confusion. My heart started beating loudly and my eyes widened.
I quickly shook it off and thought about a proper answer that can convince him. "Um.. My cousin was staying with me since a week and he only left this morning. He might have forgot some stuffs." I lied.
"Oh." He muttered.
"Okay.. I finished !" I said and closed the notebook that was in front of me then lied back on the chair.
"Ugh I'm starving." Ethan said.
"I'm going to cook dinner," I said.
"Let me take you out for dinner," He offered.
"No we could just stay here and-"
"Like a date Faye." He clarified. Oh.
"Oh," was all I could mutter. He stared at me waiting for an answer, I looked down.
"It's just a date Faye.. One date." He said, disappointment clear in his voice.
"No it's not like I don't want to go on a date with you, it's just.. I had no idea that you were.. Interested." I explained honestly.
"Well I am interested." He said sounding serious. We were still sitting around the table, he was sitting on a chair next to me.
