Aaron and I arrived home and it kinda feels good to be back. I'm just not ready for what's coming ahead of me right now. I just want to lay down and take a long ass nap. Is that too much to ask for?

After Aaron and I brought our suitcases inside I went straight to my room. I really missed my bed to be honest. I plopped down on my bed and laid back, looking up at the ceiling. Before I could even get comfortable my phone vibrated next to me. I picked it up and checked to see who texted me. Of course it had to be Julian.

He was asking if he could come over yet and I told him yeah. I'm just ready to get this day over with and forget about it. Before he gets here I go freshen up a little. I just pray this goes by smooth and not a blow up argument. I hate arguing with him.

Julian arrives at my house fifteen minutes later and I'm not even in the mood to tell him what's going on with me, but there's no turning back now. He makes his way up to my room and enters. Without even saying anything or giving me a kiss he just sits down next to me. This is exactly what I'm talking about. The attitude is real.

"So tell me what's up with you." he says running his fingers through his hair.

"Well I'm fine thanks for asking." I said sarcastically.

"Are you gonna tell me or not?"

You see what I'm talking about? I can never have a regular conversation with him whenever I say that I have to tell him something. I take a deep breath before I could say something that I'll regret.

"Well I just found out that my father isn't really my father."

Julian's face changes from angry to sad. "Baby I'm sorry. I didn't know. How are you holding up?"

Now he wants to feel sorry for me? Nah. I'm most definitely fine.

"It doesn't matter how I'm holding up. You got your answer so now you can leave." I say in all seriousness. He frowns at me in confusion. Did I stutter?

"Why you have to be like that? If you would've just told me about this we wouldn't even be having this conversation right now. But instead you chose to keep this away from me." he argues.

"I didn't even tell you the whole story but it doesn't matter. You'll just see if it happens."

To be honest I don't even care if I end up moving or not. I can't deal with all of this extra bullshit. I'm not made for this at all.

"Please tell me the rest of the story?" Julian begs.

I'm trying not to argue with him so I took a long, deep breath before opening my mouth. "Aaron is going to call the police and he's going to tell them the whole story how he took me in and everything. After he tells them the whole story he's going to jail. I have to find somewhere to stay. That means I may be moving and to a new school. But you don't mind though because you don't care right? Right."

His face is just in total shock right now. Like he can't even process the words I just told him.

"M-moving?" he stammers. "You're j-joking right?"

"Yes. I may be moving." I repeat myself.

"If you're going to break up with me just do it. I can't stop you from moving."

What? So now he wants us to break up? I'm so confused. Not once did the words 'I'm breaking up with you' came out of my mouth. If he wants to break up then fine. We don't have to be in a relationship if he doesn't want to.

"I didn't say that I want us to break up but if that's what you want then we can break up. So its up to you." I crossed my arms.

Julian runs his hands over his face and lets out a loud sigh. "I don't want us to break up. We can figure something out Ava."

He's lucky that I like him a lot because I would've broke up with him in a heartbeat.

The next morning I woke up at 12:30 by my phone vibrating like crazy next to me. With my eyes still closed I feel the bed to find my phone. It took a few seconds until I finally reached it. Blake was calling me. I sat up and answered the call.

"Hello?" I answer groggily.

"Wake up. I've been calling and texting you for the past hour." he chuckles.

"Sorry. I needed to rest for a while."

"You good. Did you have a good sleep?"

"I was until somebody called me." I giggle.

"My bad. I just wanted to wake you up." I rolled my eyes and smile. "Don't roll your eyes Ava."

What the fuck?

"How did you know I rolled my eyes?"

"That's your favorite thing to do." I laughed and shook my head.

Once I got off the phone with Blake I took a long, warm shower then brushed my teeth. I went downstairs for breakfast and saw Aaron sitting at the island eating. He must've woke up late too. I entered the kitchen and made my way towards the fridge.

"Good morning Dad." I smiled. His face lights up when he hears me call him dad.

"Good morning sweetheart." he smiles widely.

I pour myself a glass of apple juice and took a sip of it. I placed my glass down and grabbed a plate off the counter. Aaron made my favorite breakfast food. French toast with bacon and grits. I grabbed three french toasts, two pieces of bacon and a little bit of grits.

I sat at the island next to Aaron and watched Sports Center with him. I'm trying to spend as much time I can with him before he leaves. I don't know what I'm going to do once he leaves. My life is going to be so different without him around. Maybe I'll have fun with the new people I'm going to be living with. Hopefully they're as cool as Aaron.

After I finished eating breakfast I went back upstairs to my room. There wasn't much I could do right now. I'm bored out of my mind so I grabbed my laptop to watch a movie on Netflix. It took me a few minutes to figure out what I wanted to watch. I decided to watch Mulan. Its one of my favorite animation movies.

Not even ten minutes into the movie I get a phone call from Yamile. She's lucky that we're best friends because I wouldn't answer. I grabbed my phone off the nightstand and answered the call.

"Hey best friend!" she squeals.

"Hey Yami." I giggle.

"Do you miss me? I can't wait to get back home and give you hugs and kisses." I shook my head at the thought.

"Of course I miss you."

"Well you don't sound too happy about it." she says getting defensive. "What's wrong? And don't say nothing because I know that's a lie."

The girl knows me.

"How about I just say that Julian and I got into a little argument and we were on the verge of breaking up." I explained as clear as possible. Yamile gasps loudly.

I finished telling Yamile about the situation with Julian and she almost cried. She would've been so upset if we had broke up but that's life. Not everyone stays with the same person for the rest of their life.

After I had got off the phone with Yamile I continued on with my movie. Eventually, I grew tired and passed out on the bed while the movie was still playing.

When I finally woke up from my nap it was already close to 4:30. For the rest of the afternoon and evening I spent most of my day laying down, watching movies. The only time I left my room was when it was time to eat lunch and dinner. Aaron and I kept our distance from each other most of the day until the next two days. I'm mentally preparing myself for the day ahead of me.
